One day I want to Make Ed's full size Dillinger special style auto 1911 ... but I am so lazy xD
They were refered to as "Baby Machine Guns" back in the 30s
I could do the work for you.... for the right price....
I suffer from both laziness and being poor so I rarely get stuff done for myself ><

Oh, Hi Trixie.
attack of the clones!
And you'd not need to cut downthe gun at all it's a TM Detonics
And ED, you LOOKED cool doing it. And in airsoft, that's all that matters
Oh, you arrived at last. Anyone wants any info about the gun other than the full auto mod, the gun is his ^.
-
I think he means your weapon manipulation, reloads, slide releases etc. Of which I too was impressed.
the gun is pretty sweet too
Are you kidding?
It was terrible! at the end of the semi auto test i did some kind of wierd wave thing to just check the chamber :s.
on the full auto my first mag change was slow because i had the mag stuck in a 5.56 mag pouch so not my fault, then I took the second mag out before it was empty, checked it and remagged *facepalm*. 3rd mag went in at the wrong angle, then when it was dry I should have done a TRBcheck rather than taking the mag out and inspecting the chamber. Then the last mag didn't go in right so I had to lovetap it (just before the video cuts).
I'm secretly ashamed of how bad my weapon manipulation was in that video, still, its only for youtube.

I'm more impressed by how you handle the actual pistol than the function, but that was cool as well
What do you mean? It's a pretty much bone stock TM 1911, plastic slide, it has very little recoil.

I think I'll just leave this here:

This thread needs to be about 20% cooler.

Jumping n the reputation band wagon. IMO all other parts of the classfields section works well and doesn't need tweeking, but the absence of a "flag up proven good and bad sellers" program is sorely lacking.
Not that I'm against change, and I'm certainly not against the proposed system.

A gun that is now firmly in the realm of "Classic AEG".
That's just cool.

I still have an academy LSW sitting in a gun bag from many moons ago, may have to dig it out for a dust off.....
I've never seen an academy LSW, I thought they only made the IW!
-
Academy, oh yes, My first proper airsoft gun, ahhh, I really should dig that out and give it the L22 front end... great CQB gun. *Fond memories*

I'm not sure about the ICS l85, but the Star has a pretty big space above the barrel, inside the reciever. Maybe you could make a custom lipo to fit in there?
The barrel on the ICS screws into the upper reciever, not the lower like the Star/Aries so you can't fit a batt there, given the internals (Trigger unit, magwell and GB) there is no space for a Batt inside the reciever of an ICS:(

Testing:Its a drinking game
Seems to work for me. I typed it exactly as you quoted and it appeared as above. Using Firefox 6 here. I typed it into the wysiwyg editor, not the code editor *you can toggle modes using the top left button in the edit screen).
Testing:
Ok thats working now that I have changed the editing mode. Thanks lord Arnie .

ED-SKar: I see what you mean. There's a fix for the editor coming as there was a few problems with inline/center tags as well. I'll check if that's also a reported issue. Can you give me a specific example of the text/code you were trying so I can quote it to IPB?
This post:
I was trying to pot hole the link to this webpage:
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment
With the link displaying this text:
"Its a drinking game"
Normally I would use the following:
[url="http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment"]Its a drinking game[/url]
However the new code seems to auto-fill the url link in non-html format. or at least hidden code. using the URL tags no longer works.
Thanks for the help boss.
-
I've just discovered the URL tags don't function like they used to. I tried to do this:
[url=link]text[/url]
and
[url="link"]text[/url]
But both times the url hijacked part of the code and screwed up the link and then displayed the screwed up link just before the text, sowing both. I tried using the baby "add url tag" button, but that didn't help either.
Is there new code? or does the new software not support this?

Y'know those nifty sights on the Mossberg 500's? Does anyone know if you can you buy those seperate at all? ill even buy Real steel.
Well that's a little vague!
Do you mean ghost sights?

I've heard that a whole heap of K98s where converted into two shot bolt action shotguns after WW2. You don't see boltie shotguns every day, but they are out there.
-
Topics seem to only have a single line for the title, rather than the main title and second title as before. Are they lost, can they come back?
-
Would anyone know if standard M9 mags fit the M93R?
I was told that KSC m9 mags and m92 mags fit the KSC m93r, but i found them to be different. There may be more than one design so you may have to compare mag to mag, or even test fire them in your gun.
-
Rosco that is great, thanks for posting this. I've been stuck on full for too long now.

Like certain popular exotic shirts, those grips are... "loud". They aren't bad they are just a little overstated. The important thing is you like them, and that's just dandy ^.^, the rest of us will have to get used to it .
-
They insist on mis-pronouncing and mis-spelling things too. Nowt really we can do about that either.
Since the gauge/bore thing seems to annoy you, I propose everyone start calling them "twelfth-pounders" just for the lols.
That makes it sound like a cannon, as the bore rating goes above one pound of lead. for example "four pounder" cannon would have a bore the size of a ball made from four pounds of lead.
Actually...
...
That sounds awesome.
I'm going to start kicking in doors carrying my pump action twelfth-pound cannon. ^.^
-
might they be 10 guage? Just a thought, but I too agree. This is a very bad/silly Idea, the gun has MANY other inherent problems than just losing shells.
They are SMALLER than 12bore, not larger.
I had a picture a while ago of a maruzen shell with a 12bore and 20bore, the maruzen was in the middle, similar in size to a 16bore. I know someone tried to use 16bore brass to make shells for the maruzen gun but it didn't feed well at all and 16 bore is really quite rare.
PS why do Americans insist on calling it "guage" when it has been "bore" for several hundred years?
-
Well, that's disappointing. But I feel I can sort my own problems with the gun. What I need to know is what makes up the shell and how it functions with the weapon.
Plastic case.
metal rim at the back.
6mm tube through the middle (must be dead centre)
rubber pieces at front and back to make a good air-seal and to keep the BBs in place until it fires.
-
I forgot to say this in my first post but you can sort different spreads with different weight ammo. For example 8 x .2g BBs is the same weight as 4 x .4g BBs. Now I'm certain that they don't scale in sequence so you will have to adjust your loads to suit your gun, but I can see you having "birdshot" and "buckshot" loads, even if you can't have slugshot
