Update on my M27 IAR
-
Yes a Mk18 Rail will fit. No a sling plate will not work. From what I remember (and what I have) You need one that clamps on to the castle nut or tube.
-
My take on a M-27 IAR. Ignore the barrel, that will become black here very very shortly. (zomg 416?) Currently waiting for some parts to arrive to finish it off! Ta-31 Replica w/ killflash PEQ-16a K.A.C VFG BFG Sling Full Size Harris Bi-pod Extended M4 Magazines.

Hi guys. Normally I'm over participating/lurking in the KJW M4 Thread but I'll chime in here since Pagan shed some light on my project: I borrowed my girlfriends lower to check balance and fitment while my current one is in route. Doesn't look all that bad. Just gotta score an ACOG and a PEQ-16a and I'm basically set.

Now that my game is out of the way, I'll get started on this tonight as I have tomorrow off! @Fadz, that sounds like it could be part of the safety/selector mechanism and an improper seal in the piston/cup or bad gas. Edit: Pictures are out of the way. Writing and editing the instructions as we speak.

Never realized that I didn't post my m4!

Fadz, What is it that you're having trouble with re-installing/taking out? After my game on the 20th I could start work on a takedown guide/re-install guide while focusing on your direct issue...

Thanks for the suggestion Slipknot, I will give it a shot and see what happens.

Hi Guys! I have a question for you all. My M4 will not fire in full auto mode. It fire's perfect-ally on semi auto with no issues. What it does is fire 1 round as if it is in semi and the trigger fails to re-set. Any Advice? Anything need to be clarified? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I suspect your culprit is your modified aeg barrel. It's possible that the bucking isn't seated right or the cuts may not be precise.

The only thing that makes the KJ Pins annoying is the retaining pin that locks it in.
-
I'm not sure It's supposed to go flush with the bolt carrier. I think it extends the carrier by 2-3mm to keep the detent from cracking the lower. That is unless I don't understand how the extension works. Also it's a press fit so removing it is near improbable.

I hate to do this but maybe it'll entice more people onto the KJW platform*yes it has Cradle parts on it * : A link to the album: http://s828.photobucket.com/albums/zz210/Trustkill/

The Counterweight is the thing press-fitted into the bolt carrier. On the stock carrier the end is open and hollow.

I can honestly say.. What wobble? Before I replaced the fore grip with a RIS system that's where most of my wobble came from. That and the stock. I stripped my rifle down to the receiver without anything on it and shook it around, not a sound or movement. It seems like that is a 20 dollar waste of money.
