  • Toy collection
modified SR16, M4, AK47, and a couple of gas pistols that work once in a while. SOE Surefire Instructors Vest, SO Tech Hellcat with custom back panel, Eagle AK chest harness, and a lot of other gear that comes and goes. I've got a big ol' duffle full of gear that's getting sold off, traded, used and abused. It pales in comparison to some of my teammate's gear piles, though.

things with edges and triggers. I am the Czar of Showroom Operations for Lightfighter Tactical, Inc. Fort Campbell. I have the best job in the world, with the possible exception of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue butt makeup guy. been at this game for a while, having been to Op: Savage Garden 3, Iron Angel, Crimson Dunes, Op: Lockdown, Serpent Hammer (sucked) Lion Claws 3, Irene 3 (at the Zussman MOUT training facility at Ft. Knox, Kentucky) and several more I can't think of off the top of my head.
  1. My SOTech Hellcat with Padded Hydration Carrier and bib. I've got two double stack pistol mag pouches with Kydex inserts on the right, followed by a Mega Rolly Polly. There's an SOTech shingle on there, and an SOTech dump/utility pouch next to it. I wanna either sell or trade that pouch and go with an upright utility in its place. The Utility pouch would work a little better for what I usually stuff in there. Also in that pic is my SOTech map pocket holster with a Glock 30 in it, and a BPG strobe/compass pouch for a radio pouch. It was the only one we had in stock before Irene 3 that I could
  2. They only weigh a few ounces, even with batteries. They'll do white strobe, blue directional strobe, and IR directional and non-directional strobe modes. I sell all of 'em that I can get my hands on.
  3. Its a very, very close replica! Looked real in the photo. That BB loader isn't $90.00, though, right?
  4. Dang; Sturgis has all that gear, and the one thing that really blew my skirt up is the MS2000. I gotta get away from this gear thing...
  5. I used to live in SD, so all but one of my guns were upgraded by the Q. All have been fantastic.
  6. My grip used to be a Zenith. When it was being shipped to me from California to Kentucky, UPS decided they needed to break it for me. It was shipped in a hardshell case inside a box. I have an A1 style on it now, but I gotta get another Ergo Grip, or perhaps the Tango Down Battlegrip replica. The Battlegrip is what I have on my real steel AR15, and I absolutely love it.
  7. Externally, pretty much a stock SR16. All kinds of upgrades done by The Q Project internally. Shoots a very consistent 385 fps with .25's. I'm using a Gonzo Batteries 8.4V 3200 MaH NiMH pack that shoots as fast as a 9.6 does. The sight and mount are Guarder, the rear sight is a cut down carry handle. Its been repainted since then, made darker for the South, but this is a favorite pic of mine.
  8. Who's AUG is that? Looks an aweful lot like my teammate Bad Karhma's. He's pretty good with a paint can. That is a good lookin' gun!
  9. Seconded! Two full squads of players attended from California, many of whom were already friends of mine from the 20+ years I lived there. The rest are friends now. It was worth it if for no other reason than to hook up a member of TAG with members of Gorilla Pack, Regiment and AXF. That the AO was simply the most amazing place I've ever played-and I've been to some great Ops over the years-was just icing on the cake. Delta got beaten pretty well, but winning or losing isn't why I went. Hooked up with some old friends, made some new ones, and had the experience of a lifetime. Best Wester
  10. Funny, I deal with SF dang near every day, spent 10 years dealing with SEALs, and found them to be profoundly lacking in ego. They're training at that facility, not playing a game. This was a really fun game. With some more work, next year will be even better. This was a first time event on a new field, with NPC's that hadn't been around airsoft before. They did an outstanding job at it; they were in character the whole time on the field. Great experience that can only get better.
  11. Assuming it passes chrono, I'll be using my SR at op:Irene3, after which time I'll take another pic of it. The paint changes a little with every use.
  12. Try www.plazacutlery.com and www.nordicknives.com for Ek commemoratives. I don't think you'll see many of them, but those two shops may be able to help. Keep tabs on Ebay, too.
  13. What airsoft forum closed recently? None that I know of... Mods are just mods. If they're doing their job right, you don't see a whole lot of them. They step in when its necessary, and are just like any other member the rest of the time. The worst mods are called goderators. If you come across one, you certainly know it. Haven't seen one here. This staff's pretty damn good.
  14. In terms of being good equipment, though, the EOTech is hands down a miles better sight than is the C-More.
  15. I'm fairly certain that the sight is a C-More C-TAC. Runs about $290 USD.
