  1. I thought it looked too good to be the army r28 :-)
  2. You also need to remove quite a bit of plastic to make spare for the wiring to sit flush and pass through
  3. heres my finished SOPMOD, lots of spares in the classified section now.
  4. Not the actual thread but the barrel itself behind the thread
  5. I have the dytac barrel. The surefire 556 flashider doesn't fit over it, it's too fat
  6. Have also rectified the ROE issue. Hada spare 7.4 2600mah crane stock lipo lying around. Fit easily in the battery space with room left. Now fires at a very comfortable rate. Still might keep this!!!
  7. Bit of a rash generalisation there half trigger.. I can only count for the exterior which I think for the cost is very good as it hasn't even seen the cold light of day. I am selling it but only because I'm not sure if I want a bullpup and since ordering it ages ago my circumstances have changed meaning I am hardly going to use it. Would rathervsomeonevelse got to enjoy it. Arnie
  8. cant see your link, but I have a lipo converted SOPMOD stock that fits, and operates fine, on 7.4v 2600 mah crane stock batteries. Not sure if it has been discussed, but, if you were to rear wire a socom, would you not need the battery stock and and stock pipe? you cant put any wiring "in" the stock tube? If you want re-wired buy a SOPMOD, would most likely work out cheaper in the long run?
  9. Will just add that I have measured the battery space. I would say that these are the maximum sizes. 1350mm long, 375mm wide, 200mm deep.
  10. nearly two months. If my UKARA number had still been valid it would have under two weeks easily. The delay was all in the UK
  11. 1) trigger pull is long which might be responisble for the low ROF. Could also be down to wiring/type of motor. 2) If I decide to keep it then I will post an update once its been tested in the field. I dont have the range in my garden to get a good idea.
  12. Dont know if the EBB can be disabled, I am no techie, but I am aware that other EBB's (CYMA AIMS) can be disabled. Mag release is completely solid. Absolutely no issues externally.
  13. After some delays from customs owing to my UKARA number expiring during transit my Tavor has finally arrived. I thinks this might be the first review as I have found nothing elsewhere on the web and no videos save for the S&T promo one from before christmas. Unfortunately I havent put any rounds through it so can't comment on range/accuracy/fps, just aesthetics, which seem to be on alot of peoples minds when discussing Tavor AEG's. I have been worried that it would be a poor plasticy representation as per previous S&T Tavor examples, I cant comment on the Ares ones. In the
  14. will you have to do anything drastic to the barrel lock?
  15. SOCOM's have some extra wire guides that the SOPMOD's dont owing to the fact that they were designed to be front wired.
  16. That is a box standard PEQ15 completely non functioning and they are 7.4 1600's and it will be switched to deans, they just came like that, from a big US RC shop if i remember correctly who now have a wharehouse in the UK. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__17065__Turnigy_1600mAh_2S_20C_Losi_Mini_SCT_Pack.html http://www.ebairsoft.com/navy-seal-peq15-dummy-p-5760.html Its actually currently rigged for lipos in the rear stock but i think the TM stock itself is too loose.
  17. managed to run mine for the first time yesterday. still smiling now time for the re-modelling
