    KJW M4

Hey guys, I've been out of the loop here for a while (since November or so). In the winter real steel guns kind of take over airsoft for me. Anyway, my KJW M4 is up past 10k with minimal problems. I have to tighten the piston every now and again or I get jams. I still need to get the velocity reducer and pistol from T-Hum. I lost the front pin that the upper pivots on, but no biggie, I'll just make one(or did I order an extra when I got other parts?). I've had great success with this gun at games even though i only have two magazines. Everyone wants to be on my team because they are afraid of

MrTreble welcome to the KJW M4 club. Watch out for the small piece that holds your recoil buffer inside the tube when you take it down. Thats pretty much the worst thing that I've seen happen. The take down pins get looser. You might still have trouble pulling it out the other side if you have short nails. And I've had much better luck with stuff from Taiwan than with stuff from China. Best of Luck.

Yeah, I know its the export model. Just letting everyone know that they now stock it. They didn't before. I've got to say that REDWOLF is probably the best Hong Kong Retail with EhobbyAsia running a close second as far as price and selection and service go.

Did anyone get any confirmation from kjw or a tracking number when they ordered parts? Also RedWolf Airsoft now stocks the KJW m4 as the KJ Tanio Koba M4 http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=27629 And they have a 363mm twist barrel for it. Looks nice, too bad they are out of stock....maybe for christmas...... http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=24045

Anyone know if the recoil tube is commercial or mil spec type? I am going to buy a magpul moe stock to complete my magpul look but dont know which buffer tube style it uses. And oh yeah, for some reason in oder to get the moe foregrip on I had to take off the front sight and then slide it back on with the top of the grip in place. pistol grip was also a little tight.

Sounds good. Ive got about 2 thousand rounds through mine and no problems other than the part of the lower receiver that holds the recoil spring in breaking and me screwing up and breaking the full auto sear pin. Got an email back from KJW, should order the parts this weekend. It was 45 for a load of spare rubber band things, some o-rings, some extra pins and springs ect. Not bad. Surprisingly she told me that they could not sell me a magazine. Must be a new policy.

I sent kjw an email about replacement parts using the contact us sections on the website. Its been a few days and still no reply. Is this normal or did I contact them in the wrong way?

I'd be willing to buy one as well. I wouldn't want a complete Bolt Carrier Group though, just the piece. I would probably adjust it the day of the game and leave it. I think we also need one of those animated signature things like the "Realism Inside:WA M4" so we can all represent the KJW.

Yeah, I managed all that. I broke a pin during disassembly to get the piece out. No big deal, ill just order one. Looks like I'm gonna order replacements and spares for some parts that look like they will be high ware. Anyone know how much mags cost? And are the prices in the manual in USD? All the prices are like 20 or 80 or 100 I'm hoping that thats 20 cents, 80 cents and 1 dollar. Gonna send a message on kjw's website to ask for parts prices tonight.

As sad is this is for me to say this, something broke on my KJW within the first 30 mags. The part of my lower receiver where the piece is to hold the buffer in the tube snapped while firing. The piece it self got lodged between the sear and trigger and some how disabled the fire selector. As you can imagine this created problems( hammer not locking back, trigger not resetting, trigger jamming ect). Frankly having the buffer held back when opening the gun means nothing to me. After taking it down and removing the piece i noticed that the fire selector would still not move. Looks like I'll be p

Mine just showed up today. Got to the east coast of america in under three days. Its amazing, but that little rubber cup is damaged. Its not completely broken, but the edges are a little mutated at two points. I put some silicone grease in there so that it would seal better. It was porting gas before the silicon grease. After, the seal was perfect again. Just thought I'd post this to anyone who has this problem.

From what I've heard (from friends and from browsing these forums) people(as a whole) still don't think much of the kjw system, so Ill post a review anyway. Hope you don't mind.

Just ordered a KJW M4A1 from ehobbyasia. Can't wait. I was originally looking at the AGM, then the JG. But i wasn't gonna put money into the thing every month just so it would perform like when i got it. My friend got a jg for plinking, but I plan on gaming. Once i read that KJW was selling parts I was sold. The main reason I wasn't going to get this was that I was afraid if something broke I wouldn't be able to get parts. I know you don't really need another review, but ill post one here anyway once it shows up. Hope this helps to get a large enough test group to convince those WA and
