  1. By foregrip, do you mean the handguards? Also, how does the stock fit? Loose? Tight? Just wondering if they went with a true milspec'd buffer tube size.

Why are you posting pictures of your airsoft GBBR on AR15.com?
  3. Honestly I don't think it's really worth the trouble (or money) just to have trades, that's my opinion. If you choose to do so I can give you a quick rundown of the basic steps required. First remove or loosen the pistol grip screw to relieve the tension placed on the fire selector (you can remove the grip but make sure you don't lose the spring or detent) , next carefully pull out the selector by rotating it side to side (you may need to hold the sear back). After removing the selector, using a screwdriver remove the brass screw that holds the trigger pack inside the lower receiver. Then
  4. That's your point of view and I respect that. Without derailing this thread any further, let me just add a quick note, I own several GBBR's including, 2 WE's, a WA and an Inokatsu Super Version. The WE's were the only two that failed straight out of the box. (Purchased new from two different online shops, one being an "official distributor") Have a nice day Ben.
  5. WE could care less about someone out there trying to back up their flawed product(s), but the line has to be drawn somewhere and those who plan on venturing into the GBBR world need to know what they're investing in and what they can expect from a company who has not improved the quality of their product since day one. Now, you say my opinion is based on the failure of "one new gun"? Take the scar's cracking hinge plate for example, was that also a design flaw? I don't think so, these products need to be thoroughly tested due to the amount of force and pressures that take place in these sy
  6. I would stay far far away from anything labeled "WE", their upcoming M14 is clearly off my list now. I wonder if GHK's pdw is any better than this ****.
  7. Thank god I didn't throw my money away on this one... I'm sorry to see that happen, I hope you can find a replacement lower. I was actually going to give WE another chance with this PDW, but after reading about it on other forums and seeing this here made me realize that WE hasn't stepped up their game (terrible hop up, inferior part materials, spare part unavailability, etc...). They'd rather churn out a variety of rifles plagued with the same problems as their first M4 instead of fixing or improving their overall system.
  8. Thanks for the trigger group pictures. I'll pass on this and save my $270 to purchase KWA's GBB M4. I could already see myself buying (or scavenging for spare parts online) for this after a couple of months of usage. Looks nice, but all previous WE's I have owned have been nothing but headaches and problems.
  9. Does the trigger group material look to be made of a different material than that of the M4/SCAR? Can you post pics of the PDW's insides?
  10. I take it you're using the stock WE trigger? If so, that's your problem. The steel parts are eating away at the WE trigger's contact point (with the sear/disconnector). Continued use will result in full wear and non-stop full auto when set on semi. Best advise would be to also replace the trigger with the TSC one (######), or go back to the original WE stock parts (also ######). I had the same problem as you and just went back to WE stock parts, now it's just a matter of time before they also wear out...
  11. Has anyone noticed that the WE website is gone?
  12. You're absolutely right, it's rare to communicate directly with other manufacturers, but you know why? Because they have thousands of aftermarket part replacements readily available for their systems, and those users don't need to beg for a pot metal trigger or something as simple as a missing spring or screw. I do hear that European shops are more consistent in keeping their parts in stock and carrying hard to find replacements. But why not here in the US? The problem then is clear. WE needs to drop their current US based dealers and find a retailer that will frequently stock spare
  13. Seeing as how WE is focusing on the M14 now, does this mean that all support for current M4/SCAR/416/PDW owners will cease? WE will not answer any emails regarding this, so it seems likely that we will never see those critical parts we need to fix our broken guns. Just about all of WE's official retailers have been out of stock on spare WE parts for several months now, which leads me to believe that WE has stopped shipping parts to it's dealers and plans on "moving on" to their new gas system. Has anyone here had any luck contacting WE lately?
  14. Where did you get this information? And who is making these?
  15. Both the MOE and MIAD fit the WE SCAR, with no modification.
  16. There have been numerous reports of broken threads on the upper receiver, broken trigger guard ears as well as receiving factory broken uppers and lowers. Good luck trying to replace them. Co2 might be the culprit behind the trigger set degradation, but aren't the newest WE GBBR's marketed as "Co2 versions"??? It makes no sense ordering a "Co2 version" if you can only use Green gas.
  17. This doesn't apply to WE. The problem here are the trigger parts, no matter how much you tinker or work on them you cannot fix the auto/burst fire problem. Eventually you will end up replacing these parts every 2 months or so. Everything else is "fixable", with time and money. Also, one thing to mention, if your receivers, outer barrels or any other build parts should break you'll be out of luck trying to find a replacement. KJW will sell you these parts for their platform, and WA/WOC has many aftermarket replacements available as well. That's another problem that's never been mentioned.
  18. Just wait. A couple more months and many new manufacturers will be releasing their own GBBR's. KWA has the most potential to be the best GBBR platform in terms of performance. I wouldn't hold my breath for WE. They haven't fixed the problems 3vi1-D4n mentioned since their M4 V1 release and most likely never will.
  19. Try moving the fire selector to "semi" or "safe" before closing the rifle. Usually if it's set on "auto" the receivers wont close completely.
  20. I have both TSC and RA-TECH. I would not purchase TSC, their quality is questionable and whether it will fit without problems is another story. RA-TECH's parts are a direct drop in and require zero modification. The beefy firing pin strikes the outer casing of the magazine, and causes cycling problems, and damaging the casing when this happens.
  21. Not to mention their ridiculously inflated prices for replacement parts. Buying these parts overseas plus shipping is cheaper than ordering from Evike. They take advantage of us knowing how hard it is to acquire replacements. Yeah, he sure suckered everyone into buying "professional training weapons", made of cheap pot metal... Where is the support? Where are the readily available replacement parts? They answer to your emails but don't back up a single word they say.
  22. Just open a Paypal dispute, give it 2-3 days then escalate to a claim if AB doesn't respond. I waited for my order for over 2 weeks with zero communication. Luckily I was refunded my full amount through Paypal, and ordered my parts from another overseas retailer. Stay away from Airsoft Buddy, they only offer one shipping method (EMS 3-4 day delivery) which isn't cheap, and they won't ship your items until they feel like it.
