I think I saw it on their site yesterday (Boomarms). I'm not sure what the shipping issues are with them at this time.

All outbound airmail from Hong Kong are suspended (except for EMS Speedpost I believe).

I am pretty sure that the 17L kit was set up with the G34 as a donor (102mm inner barrel with a reduced diameter at the end). Boomarms currently just say G17 series. If you want to take advantage of the 17L length outer barrel and put a longer length inner in then you need more clearance otherwise it will bind slightly part way along the inner preventing the outer from dropping properly.

Can confirm the same issue with my NOVA G17L NOVA kit.  I sent my barrel to Darklite to lathe the internal diameter of the outer barrel from the chamber-end and I was able to fit a Desert Eagle length inner barrel afterwards.  Originally, the DE barrel will prevent the outer barrel from tilting enough to allow clearance for the slide to cycle.

What can is that on the URGI?

    It's a DYTAC / OMG SOCOM RC1 suppressor.

I have the RC2 on the CAG 416; but it's not the proper suppressor; just a placeholder as I'm trying things out.

The CAG guns should be using the old school FA556-212 suppressors.  Airsoft Artisan made one recently but the weld marks on the supprssor looks ugly.  I gave it to Darklite to see if he can do anything about it with sanding down the existing faux-weld and redoing it.

That is an interesting slide. I’d definitely like one that’s more vertically inclined, but I can’t get on with most of the aftermarket looking grips personally.

And seeing all these 34’s lately I wish someone would do 17L

    The TTI I posted above is a G17L :p

  5. So, the Polymer80 licensed frames have been released.  I got one myself but don't have a fancy schmancy gucci slide for it right now, so for now the WE Model 17 slide shall have it's fun until I inevitably rip it off the frame and throw it back to the dusty parts bin where it belongs.

    Pics of the frame first:

    iKLWpCV.jpg

I've managed to drop in my WE internals without any issues, and I was told that the TM internals should fit without problems too.  Umarex ones require some modifications but apparently drop-in UX frames are being manufactured right now and they'll be available soon (at a slightly higher cost).  Installation was a breeze and the internals fit snug inside the frame itself.  The grip texture is...well, grippy.  You can really feel the texture vs the copy of the P80 frame:

    ToK0dnL.jpg

The frame fits quite well in a Safariland holster:

    SVkvC2L.jpg

The only issue I have with the frame is that my Surefire X300U-A light (the one with the pull-down lever for the locking mech) gets stuck on the picatinny rail dust cover.  There's nothing wrong with the dust cover on the P80 frame but I think its just a tolerance issue since the X300U-A I used had the piece that fits Glock frames perfectly vs the one that fits the picatinny rails.  I also have a Surefire X300U-B light and that one fits the P80 frame without any issues since it's a side clamp style locking mechanism:

    YLJQuU4.jpg

I have the C&C Tac copy of the Overwatch Precision Tac trigger on mine too; was able to tune the trigger so that the trigger breaks at about the same point as the real triggers from what I've seen online.  I quite like it but they copied the safety design of the real trigger where there's quite a heavy spring to keep the safety spring tension and you'll run into issues if you run a stock trigger bar spring.  I used a SAPH 150% trigger spring and that seemed to work out, but I'd advise people to cut the safety spring down a couple coils for stock TM/WE/UX Glocks:

    KSG6y1N.jpg

Now, the P80 frame from what I can tell isn't just a difference in looks and grippiness; I've taken a couple photos to compare the grip angle of the P80 frame with my 1911 and a Glock 17 frame and the P80's grip angle is pretty much the same as the 1911.  Those who may have done research into the real P80 frame might know this already (as I assume it's one of their selling points since the grip angle is 99% matched with my 1911) but I didn't so it's a pleasant surprise for me:

And since this is a Glock pic thread I'll throw in more pics of my Glocks because that's what y'all are here for:

EDIT: I just realized Dytac actually serializes these receivers (mine is 357 lol, but their display one on JKArmy was 651) so I'm guessing there's actually a difference. Maybe in the future I might get another one to do some sort of DMR/Recce build.

    Mine is 266!

I have a 4.25" rail on mine and I'm still trying to get the SVOBODA flash hider to fit their own AAC SDN6 762 suppressor so I can do a mini 300BLK build like the ones on the SLR gallery.

Yours turned out awesome, I just haven't had time to get some of the stuff sorted so that I can finish my gun hahaha.  You should've gotten the brass reflector Cerakoted gold too!

  7. I got the aluminium ones.  I'm planning to game with these and they're not just for plinking.  I think I linked the wrong mk27 mod 2 slide above haha.

the slide w/ RMR is damn snappy (especially with the VFC Gen4 BBU).  The upgraded recoil springs at 120% are very useful.  The steel kit comes with 120% springs (the mod 2 version) but I don't think the steel slide would be as snappy.

    Mk27 Mod 1
    Mk27 Mod 2

Gonna swap the light out with a X300U-B once I get it in January.  Shame I couldn't find pics of the Mk27 Mod 2 with a red dot and light.  Probably gonna keep it in stock G19 MOOS configuration for now.

Would be nice to see an in the wild pic with a mk27 mod 2 fully decked out: AAC TiRant 9s suppressor, RMR, X300V, G17 mag with extended magazine base.....one can dream.

Very "business like". Has what it needs and nothing more (except maybe an extended slide release). Well done!

    Thanks!

The gun is assembled based on the specs for the mk27 mod 2, hence I'm not keen on putting an extended slide stop on it as the issued guns don't have the extension.

Bomber made a mk27 mod 1 kit too for the VFC Gen3 Glocks, I'll be getting that as well and move the RMR to that gun instead; putting the cover plate back on the mod 2.  I've yet to see mod 2s with optics on them but there's plenty with the mod 1s.....might as well save some money by going 100% clone correct for both pistols hahaha.

I'll write a mini-review of the bomber kit here since I don't want to start a new thread and do a full blown one.

It's well made, and it better be since the slide kit is quite expensive.  The mod 1 will be even more expensive since they're including the upgraded gen4 blowback unit for the VFC gen3 guns....the gen3 blowback is lackluster vs the gen4.  I used to have a stark arms Gen3 G19 and it was "okay" but the new Gen4 G19 from VFC (G19X included) makes me grin every time I shoot.

The design for the RMR plate is ingenious so that the RMR sits deeper into the slide.  Basically the allen screws for the cover plate are fake; the cover and the RMR plate is held on by a BBU screw (independent to the one that goes into the rear sight) and a lip that interfaces close to the chamber of the slide.  The RMR plate is solid and comes with torx screws which is nice since the clone RMR comes with allen screws only.

The slide and barrel are aluminum, but the RMR plate, MOS cover plate and thread protector for the barrel are steel.  No wobble on the slide either.

Issues with the slide kit: the dovetail cut is a bit generous vs the OEM G19 slide so it wiggles a bit on the slide.  Tightening the BBU screw that goes into the rear sight won't fix it.  What you need to do is to superglue the threaded nut that fits in the rear sight and then the sight will sit tight on the slide once the BBU screw is tightened.

The cover plate for the MOS cut doesn't have an indexing notch vs the RMR plate.  No matter how much I tightened the screw for the cover plate you can still wiggle it on the slide a bit.  Not an issue if you buy the kit to run an RMR like what 99.99999% ppl will be buying the slide for, but the cover plate design issue is still annoying nonetheless.

The outer barrel is designed too tight against the slide.  You can see the slide rubbing against the edges of the barrel chamber leaving it worn.  The OEM barrel and slide suffer none of these issues since VFC redesigned their airsoft Browning tilt for the outer barrel.

Lastly this is not so much 100% an issue with the slide kit, but VFC superglue the front sight to their slides so I kinda messed up the front sight a bit trying to hammer it off the OEM slide.  The slide hole for the front sight's a bit too tight, I can't get the front sight to sit flush with the slide; but I think I can make it work with a file.  Just haven't bothered doing so yet.

Some more points to add.  ProWin long mag and TTI base mag fits in the VFC glock, and gas does cycle the gun.  BUT, the feed lip sits a tad too low, so the bbs can't feed into the chamber.  TM G19 mags are too THICC to seat all the way into the VFC frame, so the TM G19 mags are a no go.

    EDIT:
Oh and the VFC G19 Gen4 trigger is awesome vs the TM G19.  There is a very well-defined trigger wall vs the TM G19.

The new Airsoft Artisan DD HK416 rail's out, can finally finish my Devgru gun:

    aSKpdR9.jpgEWShAV4.jpg

I'm gonna swap the HK416 grip back onto the gun (the Magpul one's a placeholder for now).  The barrel nut for the DD rail's proprietary so you'll have to purchase it (I got mine from JK Army) with either GBBR spec or AEG/EBB spec.  It's proprietary because the inner cross section of the rail is the same throughout the length of the rail, but that's not the case with the real one since the inner diameter shrinks to fit the HK416 barrel nut.  But, because they'll have to do more CNC work that way, I think AA decided to just run a proprietary barrel nut instead (which is actually 3 piece).  I'm not too happy about that but, you can't see the barrel nut anyway so whatever.  They're the only manufacturer that has released the unicorn rail so I'll have to make do.

The MFR rail panels (there's 2) are also not mounted the same way the real one is mounted but again, you can't see the mounting solution so whatever.  The font used on the DD rail's also wrong, but if you're not a stickler for details you won't see it (it was pointed out to me by a friend that's a designer and a massive DD fan).

FBI Regional SWAT Build (TM MWS Based)
Missing ODG CTR Stock, FDE PEQ, and a WML.  Waiting for a friend of mine to ship me a High Ready Tool Thenar as well.  Surprisingly the mk4 rail feels pretty good, better than the URGI Mk16....

**SLR Rifleworks 300BLK Build (DYTAC AEG Based)

Need to file part of the receiver trigger hole away to install the Krytac Licensed CMC Trigger, and need to get one of the outer barrels I got lathe down to 4.5".  Got a AAC 7.62 suppressor replica on it's way too, and oh, missing a MLOK SLR Handstop (got lost in the mail dammit).

Gonna get the receiver and stock cerakoted MC Black, grip replaced with a black one, gold cerakote on the bolt plate and gold rail wedges and anti-rotational insert for the rail.

Re CAG and KAC guns, I have another lower for them but they're being rebuilt right now so one of the uppers are standalone right now.  I got another KAC receiver actually with a 13.5" MLOK URX4.....gotta finish that too :(

Is the silencer also a ace 1 arms, if so don't they come with extended inner barrel ?

The silencer's a North East Airsoft Surefire clone, they come as a mock suppressor only so there's no extended inner barrel for it.  Right now I'm going to salvage a stock TM MWS barrel which will fit the threaded barrel + suppressor setup.  Need to 3D print a barrel spacer for the suppressor though.

C&C Tac came out with the Wilcox riser in Tan (https://shop.jkarmy.com/c-c-410-riser-mount-low-profile-rail-and-front-sight-mount-set-for-airsoft-20mm-rail-tan-cag-style.html) (unfortunately no flip mount D:) so my CAG HK416 is nearly finished.  The other HK416 with a black receiver was supposed to be a WIP for the pre-2016 CAG HK416s until I realised they used the gen1 version of the Geissele SMR rail without the 45 degree QD mounts, and nobody cloned that for airsoft (and its pretty much unicorn for real steel anyway) so I think I'll get the black receiver Cerakoted to the "tanodized" colour and turn it into another Tan CAG HK416.

The flash hider on the black receiver HK416 is also timed incorrectly....because it's not the correct flash hider.  I've got a SFCT WarComp on it right now, but sooner or later I'll be replacing it with a standard SFCT flash hider.  Both 416 uppers use a HAO rail so I've got two different light/laser setups that I can swap to whenever I want....but the one with the M600C on the top 45 degree slots work better for an ambi setup with the HK416 Tan pistol grip vs the one with the dual switch and the surefire at the bottom 45 degree slot.  I think I'll stick with the config in the last picture since the Sierra Precision grip on the 416 lower works with the dual switch rail setup.

The KAC upper on the 416 lower's supposed to be a Jason Falla inspired SR16....unfortunately the SR16 lower and gearbox are not completed yet so it's a frankengun right now.

  14. ZeZfn5z.jpg

    ......Ignore the rifle? :P

The Glock is still a work in progress but it took me a while to go ahead with the 6 second mount project given the rear sight on the TM Glock slides aren't dove tail mounted and I am a stickler for details....so I don't want the sights on the slide if I run a 6 second mount.

The slide is an expensive Guarder 2016 slide; with proper dovetail cuts for the rear sight.  That means you can't see the screw for retaining the BBU to the slide.  I gotta say the new Guarder slides are very nice, and the price matches the quality too; it was around the same price you would expect of a Prime or Nova slide, but it does come with a few more things like a BBU with a plastic rear plate.

The frame is an HK3P one, and I didn't put the ALG Magwell onto the gun because the stock WE Glock magazine baseplates don't work with the magwell.  I'm hoping getting some extended mag base plates might make it work (do not that the TTI ones won't work because of the mag base pin at the back of the mag once you use the TTI mag base).  The red dot is an Ace1Arms T2 copy, which is real nice, and pretty much externally the same as a real T2 (I've got a real T2 I compared side by side with).

The BBU I'm currently using is Volante's, and I'm hoping that I can run an extended inner barrel through the suppressor and the BBU would allow enough gas into the barrel to propel bbs out of the gun at around 1.3J.  This Glock will be my primary for outdoor pistol-only games in Hong Kong.
