  1. Please do post pics! It happens on the x300 copies too, though I dunno if they're Emerson or AABB brands (or if they come from the same OEM). My x300 had issues out of the box, one side lights up 50%, the other 100%. Also the 50% side requires me to push the button all the way in to make the light turn on. Had to buy a Fire Krylin switch to solve the issue but the FK switch has problems of it's own since it's slightly offspec to the ACM X300.
  2. What CKinnerley said Thanks for the info I think most people would pay that much just for the machining itself, let alone having it refinished.
  3. Any possibility of sharing how much Hero Arms charged? Also, how did they refinish the slide?
  4. If the bolt doesn't return to battery fast enough the hammer for some reason won't be prepped for the next shot. I've had issues with this when the bolt catch drops prematurely when I slam a mag into the grip. I've ran my mp7 dry plinking at home, which has probably seen near 4.5k rounds mostly on FA mag dumps. The Guarder gas alone provides ample silicone lube that I don't need to spray the inside of the nozzle with silicone oil anymore. The oil does vaporise outside the nozzle leaving a very minute sheen of oil but otherwise my mp7's been chugging along just fine without any applicati
  5. WGC has it for 2k hkd. Probably the the only shop on kws that has it. Dunno how ehobby and unco are priced though.
  6. Huh that is weird; because the Night Evolution M620V with the strobe function costs less in HKD than the Insight clone Beta Project made I just checked shootercbgear and the NE light is 70 bucks XD Then again they could've cloned it properly for an extra 30 bucks more and I'm sure people will still buy it As far as I can tell the Insight light isn't prolific like the Surefires; I would think people buying the insight clone wouldn't mind spending a bit more to have a proper clone; but that's just me XD
  7. BP pretty half-assed it too; it doesn't have any of the modes available unlike the real steel one (unless JK Army was wrong when I visited them). However, the button switch is a reverse clicky so there's none of that unbearble forward clicky with the surefire clone button switches.
  8. I run a D3CR and using the bungee on the 4 AK/M4 pouches they give pretty good retention for mp7 mags. The pistol pouches at the front are also very retentive without the use of the bungee (since the ones on the pistol pouches are long enough for the mp7 mags. I would assume the same applies to all M4 or AK pouches that run bungee retention. Also note that because of the depth of the pouches on the D3CR, which I believe is pretty much what all the other M4/Ak pouches are like with the bungee retention, they become a really nice dump pouch as well; where you can easily chuck an mp7 mag in
  9. Update: Shot all of my SAPH 0.3g black bbs and half a bag of Excel 0.25g bbs on the OEM nozzle, mainly full auto dumps. Shot some other random baggies of bbs I've had lying around; so my estimate is I've dumped about 3k to 3.2k rounds out of the OEM nozzle, mainly mag dumps. My bolt lock is still iffy. Tried replacing the bolt lock spring with a lighter one and it still slams loose if I quickly insert a mag into the gun. Normally it's not too big a deal except when the bolt doesn't return to battery fast enough the trigger won't get cocked or something and the gun doesn't fire till I r
  10. Update. Plinking at home on the OEM nozzle I think I've shot close to 1.2k to 1.5k rounds out of the mp7. Most were full auto mag dumps as in shooting all 40 rounds with 1 trigger pull. Gas used was Guarder Green Gas. OEM nozzle did not break, the gun is pretty much completely dry except the the inside of the nozzle as I had installed the TSC piston o-ring head onto it, replacing the OEM psiton cup. If my plinking counts as a stress test then the only nozzle issues are related to having an air bubble in the plastic; the material of the nozzle itself is fine for GG use. One po
  11. Update: Installed a new inner barrel so I had the chance to give everything in the mp7 a thorough clean unlike doing a field strip cleaning. Wiped the excess oils from the inner pot metal frame and after putting everything back together the bolt lock works fine again (doesn't drop the bolt when bolt's locked back and I repeatedly slap the bottom of the grip). Unfortunately I ran out of gas for the gun so proper testing to see if everything works fine will be delayed. As for now it seems like the mp7 REALLY likes to run dry.
  12. Cleaned everything (no more grease); made sure everything in the bolt carrier moves as it should; still doesn't lock back consistently. Will be trying a different brand of gas. Also, slamming a loaded mag into the gun drops the bolt. I haven't taken it down to pieces yet (just a field strip) so does anyone have any idea why it's doing that?
  13. I'd say get a stock TM replacement if you can, otherwise anything that doesn't have the 2 nubs for hop up application like the Firefly or PDI W Hold. Not to say that particular design by itself has issues but I think DarkLite mentioned that becuase of the way the hop arm is designed on the MP7 it messes with the hop up application should you run a 2 point nub design. IIRC he's running a Modify hop rubber (design is similar to the old school Prommy purple buckings) and he's hitting out to 60m stock with 0.28g bbs. As for my own problems; my TM MP7 isn't locking back consistently. I've
  14. Asked WGC today at the showroom; staff told me they'll be released for sure and it's 2k HKD locally. He doesn't know why the preorder got taken off the site though. The pics they have on FB are taken in Taiwan, so I guess at the place where the Glocks are made. I didn't know that the CO2 mags were out for some time already; I've never seen them stocked at WGC so I assumed those CO2 mags were new. Thanks for the info!
  15. Just wanted to clarify dude As for the Glocks I think I asked about a week or two ago. Actually now that I think about it on Monday I asked them about the CO2 Glock mags and WGC told me they're HKD 215 each. If they can quote me on the CO2 Glock mags it would point to the fact that the steel Glocks will be coming out since the Co2 mags 'seem' to be developed for the steel Glocks specifically.
  16. So the sights will fit fine, but your layer of tape just makes it friction fit better right? I ask because your post suggested that a layer of tape is required to get reasonable fit with the RS sights If WGC can give me the price on the steel glocks down to the last HK dollar I am certain it's going to be released because it's been made already. Thanks for the reply. I need to think about this first since my wallet's hurting Btw, any idea where this is going to be manufactured? Just want to know the logistics so I (or anyone else who's interested) can have an estimate o
  17. Are you guys talking about the Steel slide glocks? WGC confirmed a price for me at 2.8k-ish (IIRC, don't remember as I was actually interested in when their next SA shipment arrives so I can get mags) so I think those steel glocks will deffo make the light of day. kagami; is the glock slide going to look similar to the 10-8 one here? http://modernserviceweapons.com/?p=6181 Would be interesting if you can get the sights produced for it as well since real sights IIRC don't fit without some shimming and the only other aftermarket sight available for the SA glocks right now is either the
  18. TIME TO JOIN THE HK CLUB! Bought it second-hand, got a good deal on it Tacked on my spare T1; PEQ and my M600v and I've oper8tor'd my gnu Interestingly the Element SF clones can take real SF button switches (whereas the fake button switches don't fit the real SF light). Saved me trouble and money when I can just swap the switches out between my E2D LED and the clone m600v. I need a Rotex suppressor for it...the one that came with the mp7 deal was a UFC one and it's meh.
  19. Wut. This is obviously VFC trying to keep their profit margins high by switching over to using plastic in their molds rather than pot metal. People buy WE because it's within a certain price range and they don't tend to break as quick as the other low-end guns; or they make a particular GBBR that no one else makes (SCAR, M14, etc.).
  20. Hmm it's not a screw selector it's more of a flick-switch under the slide. I don't think loctite would work. I haven't disassembled mine because there's no reason for me to do so...so I don't really know how the switch works internally other than flicking it to a certain position gives me full auto. Non-Ex, my full auto switch locks into position quite solidly; I'm surprised that a drop would flip the switch to the full auto position. Thanks for the heads up though!
  21. It doesn't go back into battery because the hammer rubs against the BBU too much and the main recoil spring is a bit weak (the long one). That said I lubed mine with super lube on both the rails and the recoil rod and it goes back into battery just fine.
  22. I just want to note that HK3P / WE mags are slightly too wide and has a notch on the back of the mag that somewhat interferes with inserting the mag into the Stark Glock. I've tried fitting the HK3P mags into my Stark G19 and whilst they do work with the gun the mags need to be pulled out of the frame with some force as they won't drop free.
  23. Got myself an SRS for my upcoming Noveske build; but since the Noveske is still in parts I shoved it on my KAC: The real SRS might be an overpriced POS but the clone one is damn nice
  24. 2.75" according to AAC. That said it's for the real steel one; dunno if there's some slight differences between the PTS one and the real steel.
  25. Typical KEYMOD assessories won't work because of the way it locks into the KEYMOD hole: That semi-circle part won't fit into the rectangular bottom slots of the MB NSR. You can modify it in such a way it'll work for both KEYMOD slots and the MB NSR bottom slots by shaving the sides of the semi-circle till it fits; but I don't know if that'll reduce the security of the locking mech onto the KEYMOD slots as a result. What Madbull should have done was to widen the rectangular slots on the bottom so that the semi-circle locking bit would fit; assuming the structural integrity of the rai
