http://www.bbdragon.com.tw/product_info.php/products_id/2607 bought my open bolt set from CWI. shipped pretty fast and to a very decent price

daniel: roger that, ill make sure to get some more bb's through it and see what happens. thx. The only mags I have are co2, no gg/propane at all.

After finally been able to test the damn thing after I installed my OB-kit on my M4 I really just have to say; wow. Straight as an arrow and quite awesome reach. After setting sighs I'm able to get repeated multiple hits on 70m, with like one flyer/dipper out of 15-20 shots. But (there's always a goddamn but with WE it seems ;PPP), suddenly I'm only able to get like 25 shots out of a CO2 capsule ... not even one goddamn magazine :/ With CB-kit I could often get two magazines worth of pewpew per capsule and even tho OB seems a bit more thirsty for propellant this is ridiculous ;P The ROF

jk: the magazines had no o-rings on delivery so there are none to be removed. trust me when I say it's not that. ;D There is no visible molding excess, but i just took a scalpel and removed a small amount of plastic and no more visible scuff marks. I still haven't tried shooting BBs with the damn thing yet so everything might just be fine when it comes to actual performace, it was just dome minor reflection made when emptying a lot of co2 capsules, the fun way

daniel: the mags are M4 spec and fitted just lovely when CB. Maybe ill try filing a teeeeeeeny bit in the magcatch hole on the mag. Not a problem so far tho
-
just mounted my kit without any issues. just got one converted mag (6 new OB-mags and like 10 conversion kits en route tho ) but nowhere to shoot atm. Initial reaction is a bit beefier recoil, a bit slower ROF and quite a lot worse when it comes to shots per co2 capsule. it will still hold 30 rounds per co2 cap, so I really cant complain however, after converting the magazine I see some wear and tear (right on the edge as pictured below) after dry firing like 3-4 mags, and some extra force to "slam" the mag in there to get it seated; so, it feels like the mag might be a bit seated

Bjerhof: nope. Grips are RS measurements and fastnend in the same way. On my tr00h Lone star ordnance stow away grip you'd have to drill a small hole for the fire selector click-dent-spring and that's it. Trying to fit an AEG G&P grip will take u quite some modding and I'm not sure it will ever end well tbh All other non-RS accessories with RS dimensions will fit too. Tried both KAC-RAS and G&P and it fits like papa's in mama's btw; semi-recent pic of my WE L119 some real grips; more recent with supressor; https://www.dropbox.com/photoshow/L119A1%20Shorty/IMAG04

oh, just found it over at the ra-tech site. my google fu must be at a bbq party somewhere might order some extra "loading nozzles" so i can try modifying like the guides for pdw and M14. oh, and the NPAS itself
-
btw, are there any NPAS:es yet for any of the open bolt systems?
-
links are foul, but workable if u edit them manually but <3. ordered one

oh my god. why can't they just *fruitcage* release it yet? im dying here!
-
Y E S !!!!!!111oneone :DDD So incredibly bought. Edit: kinda pooped my pants out of sheer happiness there, but we also need the hopup/barrel kit
-
guess most of you have already seen it on the front news-page, but RA-Tech is reviewing and showing how the open bolt system is installed on the Scar; http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/news2/24246 release it already!

some new pics emerged on irc yesterday; http://ninja.konstipation.com/2011arn/IMG_4442.jpg http://ninja.konstipation.com/2011arn/IMG_4443.jpg http://ninja.konstipation.com/2011arn/IMG_4445.jpg http://ninja.konstipation.com/2011arn/IMG_4449.jpg Can it finally be? Can we actually expect a "open bolt"-system to our M4's this year? Can't *fruitcage* understand why they keep showing all their existing customers the finger :/ Give proper hopup now! ;P

anymoar updates on the M4 open bolt kito so far?
-
oh, in addition, please state where and when u bought your mags so we can try to find some dealers that has working mags in stcok
-
Ok, since edit was unpossible I'll have to mdo yet another post How many of you gents/gentesess has bought CO2-magazines in the last like ... 4-6 months? If so; please state so and tell me if they were leaky, if they developed leaks during this time etc etc. I have a batch of CO2-magazines that has been perfect and still are. I have never have any issues with them, including leakage. The only external difference I can spot between these and all the other ones I've had in my hands are that the valve(cover, the part you unscrew to disassemble) has been made in stainless steel or simil

Break100: without any other paper shimming except the ones u got in the bag/box?
-
+1 on post above. I've installed stinger, rubber and one paper shim, but can't get the hop to quite "bite" as it should with 0.28 and need to add moar shims. I live in a bit of a peculiar location and can only shoot outside like once a week. So, any info on how you guise have shimmed or done with the stinger set would be really appreciated.

Oh, I've actually never read any cold weather reports related to the KJW. Do you have any urls to share? I bluntly assumed that propane/gg = propane/gg no matter what system it was used with, but I'm happy to be proven otherwise When it comes to the whole reloading ordeal, I actually quite like the extra momentum due to the fact that I kinda like the extra stress during combat. A magazine shouldn't take 4 seconds to reload ... but then again, I'm a walty little wiener You do have a point with the whole gas status deal. I find my self a bit to cheap from time to time and rather use a

if only co2-mags mags were available i'd really start looking the KJ way aswell ....
-
Not to be rude or anything but does this really sound non-adjustable? pics also show adjusting valve like on the npas. It's also this kit that's been available on TMC for ~2 months. http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/ecshop/goods.php?id=6096 ;)

bbstriker: what moddan meant wasnt regarding what version of the gun itself. It's what RA-TECH call gen/v1 and gen/v2 when it comes to their nozzles.
-
Hmm, when u mention it ... That's actually one of the few things that I've touched that could cause this. Earlier I've used shooters grease on the #39 rod and a few days ago I wiped it clean and tried some silicone RC shock oil (like 100 or 110wt) since the action was a lot more smooth with oil than grease. Pun not intended, but simulating the stroke with oil it feels like, no friction at all ... like fluid on fluid action. With grease there is a much more metallic grinding feel to it. Not excessive or bad in any way, but I just liked the oiled up action more. I can definitely see hig

Well, it's the return of the bolt from the backmost position, so I doubt it's that tbh :/
