  1. Wait 'til you see how angry I get when they mess with the lights just before the photo's taken.
  2. I looked at the code because I was curious, and I don't think you should need to reformat anything at all! All you should need to do is add two lines of code to this file: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/public/style_css/css_1/ipb_styles.css .quotetop { color: #fff; background: #6CC; } .quotemain { color: #000; background: #9FF;} (those are just examples that should work pretty well, you could style it pretty much anyway you want of course!
  3. Do your sights align on that thing? It certainly looks like they don't.
  4. Is that Code Red, Rusher? How is it?
  5. Good looking team! Maybe lose the bright blue snow gloves, though? And I don't wanna be "that guy" but you seem to have by far the hottest airsofter I've seen there!
  6. Quick answer: yes. I don't care for thigh rigs so I run a SERPA on my chest usually, and yeah, if you're not careful the sling will snag on it. Of course you can minimize that with practice and with moving the holster a row or two over, or get a vest-attachment sling so you don't have to deal with it. This would probably be the smartest thing but I just love my sling too much to part with it!
  7. Any ideas on how to deal with that, other than sanding down the whole slide? It's definitely affected areas other than literally where the paint was before I rubbed it off. So it's either residue or it's something else.
  8. Ding ding ding! Give the man a prize! I've got some weird discoloration you can barely see around the tip from removing the orange, and I'm not sure why... I used acetone-free nail polish remover. I've tried applying the same remover to other parts of the slide to see if it has the same effect and it hasn't, so I'm not sure. I don't really want a polished slide but I feel like I need to fix it.
  9. Yeah I shoulda pulled it off but I was worried about it being INCREDIBLY UNSAFE. Or, I mean, I just forgot.
  10. Apparently this thread is for pistols, too... so... My USP Compact...
  11. Sort of crappy updated photo of my G&P WOC.
  12. Ah, all right. The head is sealed. Thanks for easing my worries, guys. Just didn't want to get into a situation where I'm expecting the light to work in the pouring rain or whatever and suddenly it dies because I got conned out of $150!
  13. I'll try to dig up the ad, not sure how to access it now that it's expired. My serial number is certainly different. Quality of the material/bulb/etc seems pretty high to me, but I started wondering when I noticed the pressure switch is generic and not Surefire branded... much like the one seen here. My tailcap is definitely threaded, but Surefire's own site clearly indicates that it "screws on", so I'm not sure what you mean about "pushes in." Oh, this is a M600B and not M600C, although I doubt that makes any difference.
  14. Dammit, don't tempt me! I love SIG Pros, but I've been less than thrilled with my 2009 (which I knew was a mistake even when I bought it, but I couldn't resist). For what it's worth, it looks like the frame is - like the 2009 - essentially 100% correct. The real ones also say "READ MANUAL BEFORE USE" so that's not a silly airsoft thing! The slide... well, it could use some work. The SD slides are expensive but I've got one on my USP Compact and it's a thing of beauty.
  15. Do these have unique serial numbers or are they all A58440? I'm hoping they're all the same because if not I think I might have just got eBay scammed on a real one...
  16. All right, must have been a slightly different model then. I will order soon and finally be done with this rifle! (for a while)
  17. Anyone have any problems with fitment on a RA-Tech bolt carrier? I was working with a salesperson trying one out in my M4A1 and it seemed kind of tight, most likely around the gas key? It seems ridiculous to me that it wouldn't fit flawlessly... I guess it's possible that the store only had a Inokatsu model or something... but before I throw down some money I want to make damn sure it's going to work perfectly as a drop-in the first time. Alternately, anyone have experience with mixing and matching the Airsoft Surgeon Lightweight with the RA-Tech NPAS?
  18. I'm actually not sure that the G&P *bolt carrier* is appreciably more cost-effective than the ACM/AGM. I think for the price I would stock up on several ACMs before going with another G&P. Can't help you with the heavier BCs, though – right now I'm looking at going the opposite direction and getting the AS Lightweight.
  19. I don't think I'd recommend the G&P bolt carriers. Mine broke and I've heard of a few others as well. Seems like that and the charging handle are the main weak points in the WOC. Thankfully I have replaced both (but I still need a better BC).
  20. Excellent review. I've had one of these for about 6 months now and it's as good as new. Granted I haven't put it through anything very grueling but it's held up. I used it as my main bag on a photo trip to Iceland and it kept all of my gear ready and organized... of course if you're the kind of person who agonizes about getting a camera body scratched then you'd still do much better with a padded photo bag. For me it worked great - did 6 days with just this and one other bag, no checked baggage. Highly recommend. (But I agree that the logo plate placement is a little irritating).
  21. Gorgeous. What does your sling inscription say?
  22. Nice one OGGY. Let us know how it shoots! (not that I see myself ever being able to afford such a thing – I still haven't even been able to find the cash for a new BCG on my G&P! Still, nice to hear when there's progress in the field...)
