  1. Likewise. Katotaka, you wanted more pics of the Kashtan? These are the ones I have on hand.
  2. I suppose I've never posted this here...
  3. Really crossing generations with all your mag choices! I really wish I could use those Molot mags, sigh! I waited so long for them and now I just don't need them anymore.
  4. From experience, swapping out the whole front end would be easier than fitting the stock tube adapter. Unfortunately, all of the buffer tube models I'm aware of are fixed (non-folding) models, which is dumb.
  5. Hahahaha. Good luck. As far as I know, there is no solution out there that does not require work to function. I ended up modding a real AK-100 one which involved several hours of work, a lathe, a drill press, a mill, and more.
  6. Really depends on the gun. Different brands have different fit tolerances. For instance I have an E&L and an LCT gun and they won't feed from the same mags. Annoying. I mostly prefer G&P and Matrix/Cyma brand. MAG just don't seem to last very long before developing problems.
  7. Yes, I also have this question. But if the answer is "You can't get them, sorry," that would be fine too because it would save me a bunch of money.
  8. Yeah it is. Elcan looks a bit out of place on that classic gun! Needs a mag treatment, too.
  9. It would presumably be the same procedure as modding any real stock to fit... saw off the tangs until it fits, probably drill a hole through somehow so a wire can reach the storage compartment. I'm sure it would fit a 7.4 no problem.
  10. I updated my AK, and by "updated" I mean "took some of the cool guy *suitcase* off of it to do a better impresssion."
  11. This is always the problem when games get bigger. Mo' players, mo' problems. I don't think it's out of control, yet, but I really really hope MSW maintains their quality because I think they're one of the best shows around when it's working right.
  12. Just coming here to vent briefly about how aggravating it is trying to track down a real, decent 5.45mm AK in California. Since that is off-topic, here is an old photo of my very first airsoft rifle as apology.
  13. Yep, fantastic little rifle. Unfortunately I had to convert mine... ... to a full size rifle. That apparently I don't have pictures of. But basically I used it to replace the awful lower on this guy:
  14. Thanks. Found 2 sets for $18! And actually interested in the laser protection, as that's becoming more and more of a concern at night games...
  15. Well, EW is over, so I'm not too worried about that – but the majority of games seem to require full seal everywhere I go. Mine are Wiley-X and nobody has a problem with them not being to spec... but if you get within 20 feet or so with any mesh it becomes pretty obvious. Link to those glasses?
  16. Oh and cool stuff, Foden. I like the eye protection a lot of the guys seem to be using. Fairly inobtrusive, doesn't detract from the period look. That's one problem I've always wrestled with... anything full seal (which is a requirement here basically always) I can always make fog. So I end up using stupid-looking mesh.
  17. Nope, aside from Mercy. But the West Germans fielded a full and effective squad.
  18. Yep, that's East Wind. Unlike anything else out there. RIP. Nice photos from your event – presumably there was more than one guy there, right?
  19. Yeah, it's great for atmosphere. And hearing loss! The only thing is some of the NATO guys seemed to be pretty *fruitcage* over-moto about it. Granted we had a lot more blank-fire on the Russian side, so it was an inbalance, but when you point a rifle drop 10 rounds at a guy looking right at you in the open and he doesn't flinch, that's serving the opposite purpose. To then hear that same guy yell, "Calling blank fire hits isn't mandatory, it's a courtesy!" is just super dickish (there are rules, and then there are exploits). So what you're basically saying in that situation is, "I have no
  20. Looks very cool. Would love to see more stuff like this, outside of the similar kind of things the Army does.
  21. I'm not sure either. That kinda looks like it comes straight out from the rail, whereas the B-9 jogs upward toward the cleaning rod. That suppressor also looks like a smaller diameter than the one you had.
