  1. Thanks a lot for all your work, the audio might be far from perfect, but in content this is indeed an awesome review. I couldn't find anything about the carbine before bumping by chance into your thread.
  2. Mmh, never hear of it before, it's definitely worth trying. E-mailing now... Sorry for going so off-topic and thanks Utty for the help.
  3. I e-mailed Den trinity a couple of weeks ago and they told me that it was necessary to have a firearm license to import Airsoft guns to my country (which is ridiculously false, I myself have brought from China, Taiwan and the states without any issue at all). Plus, the only way to get them to ship guns by boat is to make the payment with a bank draft, which further increase the cost of the gun, in case paying 50% on taxes over the price of the product and the shipment wasn't enough.
  4. Can't stop thinking how to keep a non-M4 V2 GB from cracking. The VFC Mk17 is tempting, but V2 puts me off.,,

Second the above. Despite -2 temperatures and midcap dumps.

  5. So, it's been a while, can anyone comment on a longer-run experience with the gun? How has it been holding up? Any new problems sprout up? I'm kind of interested in getting one (since VFC AK-105 is nowhere to be found) and it would be nice to know what kind of issues I might end up with.
  6. Yeap, AirsoftGI does not ship to anywhere else but north america. I might have to consider LCT, maybe even get the kit and then build the internals from scratch. What are the differences between LCT Ak-105 and VFC's one? I won't ask which one is better 'cause that might end-up in an endless argument of preferences, but the objective pros and cons of each (disregarding the price).
  7. Can't find VFC Ak-105 anywhere . Now that I've the money the gun is nowhere to be found. Have anyone tried ordering from VFC? I also found this retailer, but I've never heard of them before: http://www.armedforces.hk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=264&Itemid=93 The gun seems to be in stock there, although I haven't contact them yet. One last little question, has anyone tried swapping the polymer stock with one of those triangular skeletonish stocks?
  8. Short madbull surefire would look awesome there.
  9. SA58 OSW looks rather tempting... what should I do?

Get one, or don't get one, your choice :)

Opposing opinions don't get one , or get one it isn't your choice.

  10. That is - almost - exactly what I wanted to do with a type 56-2. All I'd change about it is the grip (swap it for an M60), the muzzle-break, the selector switch (tactical FTW) and, if possible, drop one of those sexy-looking Russian butt-stock pads. And maybe, just maybe, paint all the polymer bits and pieces in plum. Lovely gun nevertheless.
  11. So, how is the gun doing so far? I'm kind of interested in getting one, even-though the 551 (like this, but with standard barrel) is my favourite sig. Would love to know how they are holding up before investing. Wish there were bigger mags though, 100 rounds is ok, but I'd be more pleased with a 130-140 mid-cap. Well, at least they are cheap.
  12. Well, since somebody posted a picture I'll make another question. Does anyone know if the LCT body kits include everything to actually build the external part of the gun? I'm aware that they don't come with a mag or any other internal part (like say a G&P bodykit that usually comes with the motor), just wanted to make sure I won't be needing to get anything in order to build the outside of the gun. If that makes any difference, the model would be the Ak-105 and yes, getting the whole and replacing the innards would be both more expensive and complicated (few shops ship guns to my coun
  13. I do not own any real sword AK but I'm really interested in getting one (the 56-2 to be more precise) and, for what I have been reading about them, I doubt there would be an easy way to swap the 56-2 buttstock, it would require quite some bit of hand work, they are attach in a different way from a different part of the gun. Is it really that hard to import it? Ehobby and some other HK retailers have them in sale and at a reasonable price.
  14. I miss what I ate this morning, but far from being worried as I know it will come back to/out of me eventually

  15. Black ops sucks... Even the Multiplayer

  16. I think I'll go with the Phantom Flash-hider, I just found out they make a version for the Ak.Say, have anyone tried adapting a Real steel Flash hider to a Real Sword Ak? Funny enough, even with the extra handwork, the price would be about the same and it should be better than most if not all the AS muzzles.
  17. Never tried it myself, but the forward grip does look kind of awkward. Can't be denied though, it's one of the most distinctive aspects of the gun. Well, since I'm posting I wanted to ask something to the AK fans. Which muzzle-break/flash-hider would go along with a regular barrel length 7.62x39mm Ak. I mean something less traditional, the kind of muzzle break that you would only see in modify AK, something an PMC would have in their AKs.
  18. A lovely pic of a lovely gun. I always have something for the AMD, if it wasn't for that stock it would be among my favourite guns. I was planning on getting kerbs Ak handguard (the real version) for my future Ak build, but they are just too much for my wallet. The ultimak looks pretty cool on AMD, keeping the original lower part of the hand-guard: Real steel:
  19. This. MP5SD3, that's all I'm asking. Still, the gun looks pretty sweet, let's hope they look for a way to get over those small legal complains from H&K. I don't know, maybe release it as an aftermarket kit or something.
  20. Have you tried contacting Real Sword?
  21. Say, I have a little question that someone around here might be able to ask. Is there anyway to change the pistol grip of the Type56-2? It looks kind of different, like in a different angle.
  22. Don't worry to much about the eye-relief, it sucks in all of the Airsoft G36s, I heard even the real on sucks a little bit.
  23. I have a question and I couldn't think of a better place to ask: Is it possible to modify a Real Sword AK in order to make look like and ak74 or an ak101? I'm aware that it takes Real Steel parts and VFC and I guess that changing the buttstock would require some custom work, but what about the grip, the gas-block and flash-hider?
  24. I always thought this sight would look cool on the 97/97b http://www.opticsplanet.net/burris-fastfire-w-picatinny-mount-4-moa-dot-mat-fastfire-sight.html Compact, reliable, water-proof and great value for a real-steel sight. I'm not sure, but I think they use this sight in MW2, didn't liked the game, I barely play it, but it does look a lot like this one. The price might be kind of steep for Airsoft, but, judging by the reviews all over the net, I would say it worth it. This might be another interesting option: http://www.opticsplanet.com/reviews/reviews-yukon-sight
  25. Then it would be this one, right? http://www.uncompany.com/pageproductdetails.asp?prodid=27328 They also have them back in stock again.
