  1. My heart sunk in so far when I saw that SR-47. It's like seeing the women you've been in love with all your life get married to someone else. Hands down, nicest SR-47 you'll ever see. Kudos.
  2. So I'm assuming it's real, right? Just making sure a replica hasn't been released that's somehow gone over my head

Finally I have something to add to here
  4. Sorry for the crappy photos. My house is 200 years old, not a lot of natural light to use. (I swear they look better in person)
  5. Remington seems to be playing their cards pretty close to their chest, so I can only hope the "only for LE/MIL" comments are only to mean "only for LE/MIL...for now". If PTS could make this for around $150, I'd be first to buy
  6. Yeah I think you're right. HOPEFULLY someone will make a copy of it for airsoft, although it could be weird with the wires. In any case, fingers crossed.
  7. Saw this on M4 Carbine today, and I'm not sure if it's been discussed yet. This is slightly OT considering it's dealing with RS, but it's something that would be amazing to see come to the PTS model. Remington has a prototype 5-Side aluminum hand guard for the ACR, and this is hands down my favorite hand guard I've seen. Word is it'll never get produced, but here's to hoping an ACM model slips in for airsoft. Again, sorry if this has already been discussed.
  8. You sir, have what I like to call, 'taste'.
  9. Yeah I totally understand the price. It's something that can only serve the few people who own a very specific gun, and that still doesn't mean every single one of those people will want the barrel. But from a poor college kid's perspective...OUCH. Although after thinking it over today, I have wanted that barrel since before the gun was even released, and I'm pretty sure I messed up the nub in my current barrel, so I may actually break down and buy this eventually.
  10. Saw this posted this morning eHobby. $130? Not for me. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/accessories/outer-barrels/for-aegs/magpul-pts-masada-acr-11-5inch-barrel-set-cqb.html
  11. Yikes. Good thing I love the standard hand guard. Come onnnnn CQB barrel!
  12. I was running a LiPo in my UBR for a while. Worked fine for me. If your gun has a fuse it'll make it tough to fit wires in, so if you're using a 7.4 it'll help to use deans. But otherwise it makes for a really clean look.
  13. I really really really really really like that barrel length. I've never been a big fan of the PDW, but yours makes me want one.
  14. Can you give some info on your barrel? And why swap for the RS hand guard? In any case, that's beautiful.
  15. Yeah I totally understand your frustration. I guess all we can hope for is PTS to do what they can with whatever problems do arise. There will always be problems with any product, but how you deal with them is what really counts. I think that's where PTS will really make or break themselves.
  16. The upper receiver pin on the FS is a bit aggravating. It's a simple fix, but a fix I wish wouldn't have to be there. Despite little things here and there, I still love this rifle. Skirmished it tons of times, and it's still the best "out-of-the-box" gun I've used. I spent $470 on my SR-16, and I've have a lot more things to mess with than this rifle. Is the price high? Yea. But the problems I've had are still minuscule compared to what they could have been. Give me the CQB barrel and I'll be SUPER happy.
  17. *ssssiiiighhhh* Oh well. Maybe one day it'll just decide to work
  18. Are you having any problems adjusting your aimpoint? I bought one and can't seem to adjust the dot.
  19. I didn't know the old PMag's weren't working for people. I skirmished mine the other day and my old PMag's worked beautifully. They actually work/fit even better than the newer PMag that came with my ACR. The fit is rock solid and I haven't had a single hiccup when it comes to feeding. That's really strange.
  20. I wonder how many people 'disappointed' by the quality of the gun have actually handled one of these, nonetheless even own one. Is this gun the Second Coming of Christ? No. It was the internet who made it seem so perfect, not Magpul. Saying Magpul "dropped the ball" is taking a big leap in the 'assumptions department'. Chill out, people.
  21. Thanks! I appreciate it. She's a work horse, too. Absolutely awesome in the field.
  22. haha, When I first bought the gun, I told myself I was keeping it Plane Jane. Then I threw on different rail covers. Then the PEQ. Then the stock. Then it spiraled out of control lol. I still have my ACR to finish off, so this will have to be placed on the back burner for a bit.
  23. I swear I'm done with her now. My bank account agrees with that statement.
