    It would seem that buying a spare nozzle would be the best course of action, as I usually run propane. I probably won't even need it given England's lovely (HA!) weather. I saw some references earlier in the thread that the aftermarket nozzles increase the FPS somewhat - is this a significant increase when installed in a model without any mods?

    Had a read through the whole thread. Pretty good stuff to know, all in all. I've been seeing a lot more aftermarket loading nozzles recently on all the major shops in Asia and locally, beyond the usual Azimuth ones. Any other impressions regarding their durability and performance? Also, how well do the original TM parts "mesh" with the aftermarket nozzles?

    Aye, it's as you say. After it arrived, I had a play with a variety of different weapon lights, including three different brands of M3 and M3X, and all bar the ACM one fit. No skin off my teeth as I wanted a new torch anyway.

    Well what surprised me was that my ACM torch fits on every other rail I have including real milspec ones just fine, but not at all on the M9, leading me to believe that the rail is out of spec as too wide.

    Hi guys, I've got one of these heading my way soonish, and as a result I was wondering about accessories, namely regarding torches and the railed frame. A friend of mine got his a few months back and bought an Element M3X to go with it. It fit - barely - and with quite a lot of effort to push the thing on as it was a very tight squeeze. We also tried to mount another torch I had lying around, but that didn't go on in the slightest - the rail was far too wide. Has anyone else had these problems? What torches would you recommend? I kind of want an M3 or similar, but I'd rather not shell

    Shame that they're being so odd as of late. I bought a CA33 from them a few month ago and had nothing but stellar service and comms when I was having issues with the site. But given the general unreliability of Asian manufacturers to get things out on time (or even at all in many cases), I would strongly advise to not preorder anything, especially if it involves paying up front. While I don't think retailers are out to screw you over, they could just up and disappear any day, especially as they're mostly overseas and difficult to contact.

    Yeah, the Colemans propane has no lubricants. I use the Airsoft Innovations adapter and squeeze a few drops into the opening as per the instructions. I shall try and see how it runs on plain silicon oil, Abbey silicon grease, and Finish Line, for the sake of science.

    So, bit of an update: my USP seems to intently dislike winter. Now this may be entirely due to my fault alone based on how I run my setup, but it seems to be a bit hesitant to put more than 2-3 consecutive shots out before I have to rack the slide for each round, as if it were an MGS style tranquilliser gun. As it stands, I run the gun on Coleman's Propane, and use Abbey LT2 Molybdenum based gun grease. I can't imagine that Norfolk's harsh (?), humid (very) winters could impact performance so much, and yet... Any recommendations? My theory is that the Colemans stuff is a poor blend of

    I would disagree about spares; things can and will break due to negligence or general wear and tear. It's just something that happens. I don't think anything's going to break anytime soon, but I'd like to have parts for it on the off chance it does. With TM guns, if something breaks, you simply buy the equivalent upgrade part. Given the limited selection of KWA USP upgrades this may be difficult short of ordering stock parts from KWA USA, assuming they will still do those parts even after the Umarex deal is over.     The only things I would improve on it are the default hop unit (which can be upgraded for the HK45 style unit) which is very sensitive and difficult to adjust to the right level of hop. This can impair the accuracy, but again, hop adjustment is key here. Other things I would like is a bit more winter efficiency, but I suspect it may be due to the Coleman's propane I'm using, which is either full of contaminants that lower efficiency or a mix of different gases. I had better experiences using actual honest-to-goodness Green Gas and plumbing-grade propane from B&Q, so I will try those route

    I'm afraid the frame of both the tactical and standard .45 USP are completely identical. The barrel is also a single unit and the thread is not detachable in any way. You could always replace it with the standard barrel, but, barring the sights, that is the main element that makes the USP Tactical, err... Tactical. Best bet is to have a look at the full size .45, if you like it that way.

    Then there is that possibility. The mags and blowback unit have a different design, so check for differences between the pictures of mine and your own. If you are unsure, just take a few pics of the internals of your USP and we will be able to tell you. Barring that, there are plenty of comparison guides on the web that explain the differences in detail.

    How long ago did you buy that USP? If it was a pre System 7/NS2 USP, then they are nowhere near as good, as leakages are common and difficult to fix on these magazines. This USP is NS2, and it works with both KWA and KSC System 7 magazines, tested both in the gu with no problems, and will also fit standard non-tactical USP mags. Since using it in every skirmish since buying it, I have not had a single leak, so make of that what you will.

    Yes, I can see why that might jam up after a year or so of use. A friend of mine insists on polishing the inner slide rails of all his GBB to a mirror sheen for that very reason, though I'll wait and see how it holds up in the long term. In regards to the trades, are you referring to the ones on the slide or the ones on the right hand side, just above the grip? You are correct, the trades on the slide certainly appear laser etched. Still not as nice as stamped or engraved, but they'll last as long as the paint on the slide itself will. I'm still not sure about the text on the grip though,

    Really? I've had absolutely no problems of the sort on mine. I've got two of the normal USP .45 mags and both fit feed and drop on their own weight. The lower frame on both the USP .45 and the Tactical should be identical. If you're having issues like that I would suggest filing down a small part of the inner magwell to make more room.
