TBH I've seen folks in sweatclothes and hunting outfits play better than the fully kitted folks (and even the less kitted like myself). If I could get out more than once a month maybe it'd help with my health, though tbh it usually does the opposite with my body sore and not functioning right just in time for the Monday workshift... -
Anyone got an idea what sort of magazine floor/base plates would work for the old MAG ak74 midcaps? Realize that I have a few without baseplates whiles I was trudging through the collection today.

Furthermore, does anyone know of places in the US that might have the cyma or lct midcaps in plum? It seems that except for the lct ones being sold with particular models they are only found in a select few overseas shops and the cymas I have not seen anywhere in stock.

So, I gave in and made a fake fb account to finally find the game hosts' page so I could find any photo evidence of me playing in the past year. Warning, all of these have me looking goofy and with random kit on. Latest game from January: Pretty sure most of these won't be viewable due to the page owners having it set as a business page but we'll just have to see. Thanks to Capital City Airsoft for the photos.

Shot in the dark but maybe someone can answer this: Is it possible for the Flare/Smoke grenade pouches on the SSO/SPOSN Lazutchik (not the M model) to hold a Bizon magazine? I've heard about sposn's rpk pouches being able to hold .5liter bottles and whatnot and folks have used them before for bizon mags, and since those smoke pouches supposedly hold a .5 liter bottle...

Is that one of the cyma midcaps or the highcap you got in it for that photo? Been wanting to see more pics of those black akm style plastic mags lately, been thinking of grabbing one from somewhere to try in my 40d model.

Have had an odd fascination with the few plastic akm-style magazine options that came out nearly a decade ago, such as the Guarder shells, the Cyma ribbed ones (which iirc are based off the Polish and Bulgarian patterns but there exist Russian examples) and the MAG brand ones that seem to be not carried anymore by anyone here in the US. Was wondering if anyone actually likes running the latter two with their 7.62 kalash options. I confess I have thought about getting a black cyma one for my soon to be unwrapped cyma ak100 series carbine.

For anyone who can decipher this horrible shop's website listings, is this a rebranded cyma 40b vfc style ak105, or one of the tm models and they just cannot put correct picture up? For some odd reason they have this cheaper than the cyma 40b reband by itself, which has me immediately suspicious. Oddly enough, this place has 100 series front ends for sale, but for some reason they decide their "free" shipping does not apply to them.

I am inclined to believe the former on the basis that the item code for the rifle in their shopping cart menu is LT-740D which corresponds with lancer's rebrand of the cm40 models iirc.

I do feel like the fire selector markings should say "Explosion!, More Explosions!, and ####!" , the latter for safe obviously.

Does anyone know of a shop that sells 9.6v nimh sticks that have deans already attached? I'm keen on picking up one or two full wiring harness sets with deans to replace some of my old kalashes wiring and I'd like to just get some nimhs with deans already so I don't have to fuss (I know I'm too daft to solder anything myself/too old fashioned to dip into lipos as well).

Bit of a longshot, but does anyone have any info about this custom AK-9 model done years ago?
The group that did it either has no facebook page that is public (not requiring a log in) or is just gone completely. I theorize they either took a 100 series receiver or possible one of those 74u ones that came with a full folding stock and fabricated the pistol grip, mag, and possibly front sight/barrel threads. The lower hand guard must be the lct one produced as "AK-9 style). Not going to lie, I kinda like it more than the VSS/VAL style of 9x39.

Thank you for your effort Arnie. I tried searching through that site's youtube page hoping that maybe they showed it off at one point but no dice. A few folks over on Red Alliance supposedly made their own years ago as well, but all the pictures are gone for the most part.
Just one of those things you get curious about and wonder why companies like LCT (who had a prototype one) ignored it.
Of course, I'd quickly ignore it if a SG542 got made somehow, but that is an even more far fetched dream.

Had a thought earlier today: Why has TM not looked at releasing an updated version of their sig 552? It seems like one of the models they would have considered for either the "High Cycle" or "Next Gen EBB" systems. I still see them from time to time in vids from over there and think there must still exist some interest in them.

For a while TM focused on MARSOC and now they've undoubtedly poured a lot of resources on the new Type 89 GBBR. I doubt they'll do anything Sig 55X related in the near future as it will be eclipsed by hype for GHK's 553.

So, from le old google translate on TM's website, it seems they are making their 74mn model again. I assume this is not an updated version right? I remember awhile back hearing talk about how their ak next gen series did not sell as hoped but they were considering in the future relaunching the line.

Funny thing is, they don't have it MAP protected so the JULY code takes it to below 400 depending on your shipping rate.

Still want to get a carbine length kalash one of these days, even though I have too many kalashes as it is. Should just find a front end somewhere for my old dboys. Now that I think about it some more, pretty sure the pps type 3 stock would fit, but the cost of importing one would be a bit much just to try it, and getting another bizon seems a bit much.
