  1. I assume he means out the front of the canister around the port where it plugs in (assuming he is hearing it or some other indicator).
  2. ^ For when you have to be really sneaky with your Cheeky Breeki. I assume you made it yourself?
  3. So, apparently Dragunov's weapon designs are coming out from the Soviet archives and given new life. I wonder which Modern Military shooter will mess them up first...

the ak-400 series use dragunov system, and the rpk-16 and new compact rifle in that link are from that development.

It is not fully clear however if the ak-12 will use dragunov system or will end up just being a remade ak74 (images in articles are often just upgrade kits produced for parade shows/testing).

  4. Just had this arrive in the mail from another small shop. A few folks might recognize it.
  5. Suddenly imagining a Bizon or Aks74u with a SVD magazine...

      Trunnions won't take it.

  6. I thought it was a given that those stocks were made out of pixie dust and unicorn horns.
  7. That almost looks like a standard loadout for FireKnife on skirmish day.
  8. This just arrived from Unlimited Patch Works. They have a Lagoon Company patch as well and soon a Revy Two Hands patch.
  9. On the Bizon it goes front magazine lugs first and then push up till the feed lips lock into place. I would hazard a guess that this "magazine" fits differently though. I assume it has a sort of adapter piece that fits the usual catch in the receiver, and possibly some sort of retainer for the rest of it. so you would bring the "magazine" up to the receiver, fit the piece into the catch, and then tap it firmly to lock it in. Whatever retainer it has is not visible, but it doesn't appear to have the lugs like on the Bizon magazines.
  10. Ah yes, that particular image. What makes it differ from what I envision is that with the Bizon, there is no lower handguard at all and the underside is altered for the magazine to fit smoothly, whilst that image shows (at least within the blurriness) a standalone magazine, if that is what it is.
  11. When you got a new gat but no games to try it out at.

Cuddle with it like the rest of us do. No shame in it mate.

Yep, then either put it in the box and let it sit for years, or a wall :D

  12. One could say Bizon-2 model, though being airsoft certain stuff is always off (no front sling hook). The stock catch is also a bit wonky, but at least I can maneuver the stock on and off it unlike the early runs that seemed to require superman to do so. Earlier I held the magazine up against one of my 74 models, and I had thoughts about how a full length rifle version would look like.
  13. One of the few times a box arrived for me. Cyma/S&T Bizon. Already went to work on removing the sticker residue afterwards. Been wanting one of these since the BF2/Ghost Recon days.
  14. When you wake up early only to find your gps says you don't have to go till "x amount" of time.

  15. Yes, hicaps and midcaps if you can find them. As some folks have said though, they are horrible at retaining bb's outside of the weapon initially without modification,
  16. For some strange reason I want to see a F2000 in 7.62×51mm.

  17. There is a scope attachment rail available, so I assume it does so for that.
  18. Yeah, it is a shame how cheap it was made for such an interesting piece and then see how it is being sold. It is supposed to have a "quick" spring change bit but that involves removing the stock... The selector is off from the real one which has to be pulled out slightly when used, but that was probably a thing that S&T wouldn't know how to do without handling a real one (which is the impression the build quality of the whole replica gives off). Remember to tape it up like all the training images show That all said, I still wouldn't mind one on the wall.
  19. It's a regutted acm/Black Viper ak12. But darn it DarkLite, you are making me want that pattern again. I just want a closet full of gorkas in every pattern under the sun.
  20. Google-fu is failing to convince me otherwise, but am I insane in not finding a single US shop with a TM VSR-10 GSPEC in stock? That itch to have something that is spring action is bugging me today something fierce.

      Gunmane

Really? Most of the shops outside of Asia and Mainland Europe I see are UK based. Probably outrageous prices, but I just saw one in stock.

Not exactly a VSR but it's spring and still the cheapest you can get compared to everywhere else though a couple weeks ago it was on sale at $140. http://www.evike.com/products/53388/

Not a big fan of the magazine design for that (read reviews on ww2 forums before about it). Anyways, the last search for UK shops that had GSPECs in stock showed Airsoft Zone and FireSupport, but I swear I saw more shops from an earlier search.

  21. That moment when all the repressed urges to get "insert bit of kit" and get out to a field come flooding back after months, and yet you have to try and hammer them back with reality.

Yh, I failed, my GHK AK arrives tomorrow....

I wish I could fail, but unfortunately this task is all I ever succeed at doing.

  22. So, did I miss news of LCT kits being discontinued or something? I know a shop here in the US has mentioned it several times, but it seems odd to be happening just out of the blue.

    1. renegadecow

      renegadecow

Nah. They're just trying to market E&L more being cheaper. LCT is still making stuff and developing new ones too with their new SR-3 and up and coming PP-19-01.

  23. Is it wrong that now I want to see how far one could go in terms of lining up these mausers like that, set a world record or something that can be seen from the air.
  24. Early on in this "heated" topic there someone examined one of their replicas and the rear sight block being essentially from a type 56. http://www.red-alliance.net/forum/index.php?topic=25435.25 Sure, you could try to put on a real sight block as a replacement, but have fun trying to. There are some stories later on in that thread about people trying to take them down with bad results, and other stories about the horrible finishes. Of course, there are others who quickly say "best replica ever!" in a sense. Honestly I wouldn't be bothered to get one, but then again, I am fine wit
  25. Kazakhstan magic it is. Russian forces themselves have enough as it is in terms of (in various mindsets) unorthodox weapons to be used in place of a masterkey. Of course, the real answer is they just punch out door locks and everything within their range, or use a shovel.
