I took mine marshalling with me yesterday. These things are insane! Mine was chronoing at 320 on a warm day with Abbey Brut gas. I stuck an H nub in there and it's sending .28's miles! I had a slight issue where the barrel wasn't straight out of the box, but that's been fixed now. Overall I'm very impressed. Works much better than my Bomber M16 which is doing 200 fps.

I don't know why, but even though I'm happy with my Bomber M16A2, I can't hepl but feel I should've got a GHK AKM. Hell, part of me wants to sell the M16 to fund an AKM! Am I going insane?

If you'd bought the AK, you'd have wanted the 16/203. Be happy with the nice rifle you've got, save up for a GHK. Play the long game man, always the best bet.

I know what to do. Buy a G5 because then I have something small that takes the same mags as the M16, and they're pretty damn good as well! Screw it, the Bomber stays!

Apologies for the image, but man lacks a decent camera, even in this day and age! Bomber M16A2 with M203. It's the sex apart from it shoots BBs a whopping 10 feet so far due to lack of use!

A quick and dirty pic of the brothers. How the chrome slide didn't give me away last time I used it, I don't know. I'm tempted to take off the wings both sides of the beavertail on the 17. The left one interferes with using the slide release as it sits right where my thumb wants to go.

My MP9 never was 100% without the disconnector, hence the tales of woe and despair that I kept posting. I can't remember exactly what it was since it was a long time ago, but it just never performed as well without it. I don't know why if everybody else's worked fine.

Sorry for the necro, but I wanted to add my 2p about the WE G18c. After my XDM, I said to myself "Don't buy WE again". A year or so later I bought a WE Glock 18c because I needed a shiny silver full auto pistol in my life. First impressions were that it was made to a much higher standard than my XDM ever was. Everything fits smoothly and serves its intended purpose. The selector clicks into place nicely, the slide racks smoothly and it cycles like a beast. I can confirm that WE 1911's and WE/HK3 Glock's have the same internal thread. I have one of the WE silencers which screws onto the inside of the barrel and it worked on my friends WE1911, Hwagan's HK3 Glock 17 and my WE Glock 18c.

Balls, Ares don't have the sight rail in stock! The more expensive option would be to buy a JG SL8 which I can nab the rail off and make the rest of the gun into some sort of project. I have handled an AG36 before, it wasn't too bad. However, a 450 FPS semi locked DMR fitted with a grenade launcher and a drum mag would probably not be allowed on most sites.

I've just emailed Ares asking about whether they will sell to me directly. I noticed they also did a pack of 5 of their SL8 mags so I inquired about those as well. Would it be wrong for me to put an AG36 and a Cmag on my SL8?

Isn't the trigger, you know, kind of important? I'm currently trying to source an SL8 sight rail and some small mags for my SL8. I think going through Ares (urgh) is the only way though.

My G36c next to my SL8. I'd say the Classic Army carry handle scope is probably the best, however it's still *suitcase*.
