    Doing a lot of reading into getting the SL8 into a great DMR. At least it can't be anywhere near as bad as that G&P M14 I had!

      To start with, yes. I got it running pretty well but the mags really let it down!

    Hi guys, I tried posting in the old topic but it wouldn't allow me. I'm trying to see if Tiger111hk are a decent site to buy from? They've got a JG SL8 at a good price and this is exactly what I want for my DMR project, however I've not seen much in terms of how good this company are. Does anybody have good/bad experiences to share? Cheers.

      I think I've only ever seen one UK retailer stock them, I can't remember if they had spare mags though. I've heard that they are incredibly fun to shoot. Nice recoil with a loud crack at the muzzle. Curses. I really want one now. :(

       

      @FK, damn right! A TM GBBR UZI would be made of dreams and the tears of joy from UZI fans everywhere!

    Any chance of saying which shops DarkLite? I checked the usual suspects (EG, Ehobby, EBairsoft, Tiger111) but couldn't find any with them on sale.

    A friend of mine has some and has similar issues. From experience, it may be worth removing the spring and follower and filing down the follower a little bit on the sides. I've had similar issues with other mid caps and doing that has improved them no end!

    A quick question. Is there any reason for a stock gun to mangle nozzles? I've not bought the gun yet, but I've been told that it constantly needs the nozzle replacing. Is there something that might cause that apart from carelessness?

    How are these holding up over the long term? My XDM was great until the roller bearing on the hammer wore out and killed it. It would be nice to know how these are as I do want a P226.

    OK, I'm one my second one of these as the first had bad ghosting, bad parallax and problems changing to the green reticule. Josh has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, even offering to replace the sight free of charge (I paid him for posting a replacement though). However, my second one, while better, still has really bad ghosting. The red is noticeable but useable, the green is just a mess. Outside the red is perfectly fine, however indoors the ghosting is quite apparent. Also the second one didn't have the trademarks but tbh that's a cosmetic thing and not something I'm bothered abo
