  1. Germany 14 years = <0.5J 18 years = 7.5-0.5J All replicas must be semi-auto or bolt-action above 0.5J or it is considered illegal. They can also only be sold in firearms shops. All airsoft replicas have to have "the trader's weapon abbreviation and a F-in-a-pentagon mark as well as the airsoft gun caliber (such as 6 mm BB)." (copy-paste from Wikipedia). Attached devices (aiming, lighting, targeting, etc.) are forbidden when attached, not seperated though. Strange rule. Import is allowed with the above limits, export I can't find any info about. Begadi: very good equipm
  2. Very nice piece of kit ! Could you elaborate on what we are seeying ? Like the silencers, fire selector, etc.

    AGM M4 GBB

That's another tip, thanks ! Apparently the new "recoil" spring is doing something: sometimes it'll full-auto-fire in semi-auto, like shooting 3 times with 1 pull. But after a few shots it'll expend all gas and minimaly move the bolt...

    AGM M4 GBB

You're not the only one who is stumped. I put more than the price of the rifle in upgrade parts just to have a usable full-auto and the the things I did to "break" it's full-auto is actually enhancing it. What's next, it'll recycle vented propane ? Then again, I'd probably not have a good seal at the loading nozzle if I kept the original parts. But it still baffles me...

    AGM M4 GBB

OK So I tried some various things, I found out that a AEG cylinder would just about fit inside the buffer tube and the recoil piston's head is the same size. But this lead me to the idea of using an AEG spring and piston, which fits perfectly. Only problem is that some might have issues with the buffer lock (being too short), but it wasn't a problem for me. Anyway, I tested it with parts those from an M4A1 AEG I had that destroyed itself, it shot little above 360fps to have an indication. The spring is a lot stronger than the standard recoil spring and manually cocking it is pretty tough.

That might be something I can try, the buffer tube. I'll see what I can do and report back !

    AGM M4 GBB

OK if it can't be done, it can't be done. Removing the flute valve solved atleast some of the problems I had with the gun, so that's a big plus. And putting in the disconnect is a 2 minute job.

    AGM M4 GBB

I tried it on 134a and it cycled properly, surprisingly crisp cycling too ! If I use propane, I might shoot way too hot probably. Good tip about the charging handle ! Must remember that. When I'm getting this bolt action thing sorted, I'll make it a decent project with a new stock and barrel. Is there anything else I can try to stop it from recocking/cycling ?

    AGM M4 GBB

It did increase power, but it's still shooting full-auto and semi-auto correctly. Strange as I didn't expect this. I removed the circled pieces (along with a spring): EDIT: I also removed the disconnect, you do mean this part, right ? It actually also didn't make any difference. Still fires full-auto and semi-auto.

Hmm great advice, I'm going to try it right now !

You are referring to the metal thing behind the sear that is connected to the fire selector ? But it will be semi-auto and not manual cocking, right ?

    AGM M4 GBB

I've been pondering... I want to convert the AGM M4 I have into a gas bolt action rifle. So you have to manually cock it every time you fired. Sniper rifles aren't allowed here with semi- or full auto functionality or you'd have the AEG specs enforced on it. So I was pondering on how this could be achieved. Is this possible ?
  13. For some guns, like the AGM M4, the bolt catch is VERY prone to failure and replacing/disabling it is a "reliability upgrade". I'm very interested in the WE G39C, if it's any good, it'll be on my next-to-buy list.

  15. I like the speed and weighed decisions the staff makes to improve the forum. It is the pinnacle for a good and friendly discussion community. Most forums are like: "no, our system is good the way it is" or "Didn't you read the rules ? You can't discuss forum policy ! Added a Strike to your profile". ASR uses this kind of narrowminded dictatorial behavior a lot and good people with honest and correct advice get banned or shunned because they question the staff's system or mis-use of it. Hat-tip to the Arnie's staff for being a progressive, professional and friendly bunch ! Positive r
  16. Today I replaced the nozzle with the metal one that was supplied in the box and I also found metal magazine parts like the "BB head" and "BB guide". While replacing the Bell mag with those parts, the fill valve finally gave out and it is now broken. I transplanted the metal mag parts onto the TM mag I still had left. But it needed filing because I couldn't load BB's from the top. Also, the BB's are jammed pretty tightly in the "BB head" so sometimes the nozzle stops midway on the BB and I have to manually cock it again. I'm still carefully filing down that to get it to work just right. An
  17. I can concur, I bought the same one (Silver) 2 weeks ago and I had loads of fun with it. I also bought a TM mag to see the difference and because the Bell ones were out of stock. I'm getting different results as I have tested 3 types of gas and different types of filling them. I had a problematic fill valve on the Bell mag, after some tinkering it works quite good. After lots of play, the thin spring in the blowback unit somehow got lodged between the slide and the blowback unit. It deformed and it would dislodge itself after a few shots again and again. I found a replacement spring and it
  18. Well apparently the problem seems to be isolated as I'm not having the same experience as other users. I'm using the latest Firefox 3.6 release and this is what I get: As you can see, the title links to the start of the topic. And I don't see that arrow either, which I was looking for in the first place. I'm going to test disabling extensions in Firefox and deleting any cookies to find out what is causing this... EDIT: SOLUTION FOUND! Forum Results Display -> "Show results as a list" gave me the above problem, changing it to "Show results as a forum" fixed it ! I
  19. Yes, but only to the first post. Would you like to help me with a test ? I've written a reply in a topic a while ago and it contained these exact words: "misfeeds and doublefeeds". If you can find it, using the search, without browsing through pages of topics, I'm apparently mentally ill and will proceed to better myself. I'll give you a tip: at the moment I'm on search results page 2. I tried and I can't get the without searching for it, there is no link in the search function that lets me hop to a specific post, only to the start of a topic which contains the post.
  20. Thank you for the tips, but it doesn't seem to work. If I search inside a topic, it just mentions the first 20-30 words and the link is always the start of the topic. If I use advanced search, I can not seem to search for multiple words in one post, so it finds a lot of posts non-related and the results caps off at 200 posts.
  21. I noticed that when you search, in a topic or in a/the forum, the results will always link to the start of a topic but not the message itself. This makes searching in large topics very hard and will result in more questions being repeated because of this. You CAN find the post if you click on the posters' name and hope that they haven't done much posting, so you can find it in his post history.

    AGM M4 GBB

Did you have to modify any of the parts to work in your gun and did it improve much ? I need to replace my hopup anyways but I'm thinking about also doing the complete BCG. But sometimes you read it doesn't fit in the AGM or it needs to be machined. I don't like spending 300$ on upgrades to find out it still needs (a lot of) work.
  23. I love them too, got some gear from them and very happy with it and the transaction. But I've seen some references they (used to) stock airsoft guns too ? Whas this a past issue or just for Germany only ?
  24. The first pic of me airsofting ! Holding down the line with a TM Steyr AUG, which wasn't shooting accurate at all
  25. Nice collection lothario ! Too bad about the Steyr AUG kits being this bad... But hopefully the AUG supreme'ness in COD:MW2 will inspire manufacturers to reconsider making good and affordable kits for the AUG once more. I'd love an A3 conversion kit that was worthy of the 150$ pricetag. That RS AUG looks very badass, but some rail positions seem badly picked. What's up with the one near the trigger ?! A question, what's that latch thing above-right the magwell ?
