  1. Update: My Masada now has 10K plus rounds through it and is running strong. It's stock except for a different bucking and been using a 9.6v and now that the 30 days is almost up deans will soon be installed. Couldn't be happier if i tried.
  2. Yes it fits very nicely in the hand guard, just have to arrange the wiring. This is the one that I'm using: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=27_47&products_id=2428
  3. No upgrades except a different bucking that gave me a little better compression. Unfortunately it was from the "parts box" and have no way to identify it. Battery is a 9.6v 2000mAh crane stock battery that works great and lasted all day. Externally I have a Primary Arms Micro Dot, Condor Tactical Flashlight with pressure switch hooked up to the Magpul Illumination Kit (which is heavenly), and a mock PEQ15 for looks. Also just got in the adjustable stock and it really completes the gun for me (except for the shorter barrel). It fits perfectly with the Masada and it also has all its thre
  4. Got some videos up of the Masada in action. www.youtube.com/12ed2 It's the Desert Fox videos. Camera was a Tachyon XC Micro and these are my first videos up so I'm still learning how to edit. Enjoy!
  5. AAR: Just came back from using the Masada for the first time and I am nothing be happy. Running a 9.6 and the only upgrade is a different bucking. The field was Desert Fox CQB which is very close quarters and the Masada preformed amazingly well. Despite it being longer than I'd like for cqb it was very easy to maneuver around corners and bring it up on target. Although the folding stock and shorter barrel should make it just perfect. Rate of fire was great and accuracy was superb. Of course this drew a lot of attention and was at one point commented to be "shooting like a lazer". Only
  6. Update: Noticed my barrel is also missing the two washers but have not noticed any wobble or issues with it, this after taking the barrel on and off about 10 times. But due to the missing washers I'm going to hold off on deans until the warranty is up. I did however install a KWA 2G bucking and did a through cleaning. Found that with the KWA 2G bucking the hop up was no where near enough for .25 bbs. Que the electric tape again! I placed a very small strip of electric tape (that was three strips thick) onto the bucking where the nub comes in contact with it and completely solved to the po
  7. I would but I don't have one at the moment. If I get my hands on one I'll post up my results.
  8. S/N MPTS01300 Very happy with the gun. Going to leave the internals alone until it becomes an issue except for deans. Running a 9.6, hopefully it lasts a while. Was disappointed in the amount of play in the hand guard but after some tinkering found a very simple solution to make it rock solid. Electrical tape. Just put a very thin piece at the end of the pin holding the hand guard in at the wobble is gone. Hope this helps those who had the same issue.
  9. Found an interesting video that showed a fix to a real steel Bushmaster ACR barrel wobble problem. Thought it could possibly be a fix if barrel wobble on the Masada was more common or at least an idea how to make it better. This given that it's not actually material stripping away. I've been stalking this thread since it began so just a quick thanks to everyone on this thread since there is such a plethora of information. Can't wait for ASGI to get their preorders in, which according to a sales rep I spoke to today, said that they received a shipment of two Masadas whereas one was shipped
