Hi. Since it's a thread for G36 enthusiasts, I wnat to ask if anybody recognise rail mounted no those australian G36 which is really great looking - I think that most of You have already seen this photo - it's quite popular. Well. It's cool. I like it much because of simple reason. It's very close to my favourite setup. So there are only two things I would change - I mean replacing MBUS using TROY sights and keeping it all black. Or at least not mixing colors within one part - MIAD grip and PMAG in this case. More consistent colors look better IMHO. But it's just me .

And the same works for 553 ? Just curious. Completely out of my (wallet) range .

Heehee... I see someone has painted markings on Magpul PTS lower . Just like me - that is the only thing I hate about it's airsoft version. But luckily it's easy to correct .

It's maybe a kind of newbie question, but the heck - I just never thought about it before... What is the origin of RS Magpul lower receiver ? Actually only places I've seen it are Stickman's photo albums. There's no info about it as a regular Magpul product on their site. Do you know anything ? Some kind of short run, "collector's item" or something ?

Selector markings were masked around using Tamiya masking tape and painted with an airbrush. I am scale/sci-fi modeler - suprisingly modeling stuff seem to be usefull in airsoft . Well, at least sometimes . Some resemblance to Stickman's configs is not accidental. His pictures entirely twisted my "Armalite taste" . Alright. DD Omega 7.0 is a history now. That's my final setup, still with two piece outer barrel. Only thing I need is Tango Down short VFG - I should get it within next two days. I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with mine too. Despite being produced in China, indeed it's a really great quality piece. I was quite suprised, after comparing with King Arms Troy RIS... Speaking of mk18 - I seriously consider buying CA LWRC in its so called "dark bronze", and switching stock ris to China made mk18. I think it could be great set. Of course I'm aware it may require some modifications.
