  1. most ppl suggest installing a preci barrel and a lot of ppl also agree that fireflys hop up bucking and nub are a great upgrade. I have both the bucking and nub as well as a prometheus 6.03 precision inner barrel and this works great in my sopmod!
  2. I have one of Richard's custom 7.4v 3000mah 15c Lipo battery (http://eagle6.co.uk/beta/store/products/) that I'm looking to sell. It works great and is perfect for anyone with a sopmod that wants to keep the quick change system. PM me if your interested
  3. Well I just went out and shot a couple mags through my sopmod after finally getting everything upgraded and a working batt. I now have Richard's M100 spring, Firefly hop up rubber and nub, and Richard's custom 7.4v lipo. After charging up my newly fixed lipo i popped it in my sopmod and dry fired it some and it seemed to work fine although i noticed sometimes when i shouldered it it would stop shooting probably due to me bumping the battery in some way it didnt like but this didnt seem to happen again. So I put an empty mag in to check that the bolt stop was still working after I took it apart
  4. The last game I played I felt my pistol grip getting hotter than usual but I haven't played for a while now so I'm not sure if the problem still exists I'll see this weekend though. I hope it doesnt cuz I dont think a really hot motor is such a good thing xP Btw the last couple games I played I was having problems shooting on semi, my mags would just stop feeding after a few rounds and then as soon as I switched it to full it was fine again. Anyone had this problem? You think it could just be my mags that need some cleaning or something?
  5. I just wanted to say that I got my 7.4v custom LiPo from Eagle6 a couple days ago and got it running yesterday and this thing is amazing! The rof and trigger response is absolutely perfect, shooting this thing in full auto with the lipo is the most fun ive ever had with an airsoft gun I can't wait to try it out this weekend, im pretty sure this is gonna be my new favorite gun and will definitely catch some peoples attention since I dont think anyone I play with owns one. In a little while im gonna install the Eagle6 350fps spring, Firefly Soft Hop Rubber and Buffer Rubber, and a Prometheus 6.
  6. Im not really sure how you can tell but i would probably say that they are engraved someone correct me on this if im wrong
  7. i got my sopmod on friday and so far it looks amazing! I did not however order a battery since I am waiting for eagle6's custom lipo so I can't comment on the performance. But this gun looks beautiful, it feels solid as a rock and i cant detect any wobble anywhere on this gun. It's got a nice weight to it and it seems very well balanced, the battery switching seems like a great innovation on TM's part and i hope more guns will follow in its foot steps since ive had enough with tricky batteries and wires getting caught everywhere. The one concern i have so far is the delta ring (i think thats w
  8. Gunfighters, That sounds good, im getting the feeling that everyone who has this gun is pretty much 100% happy with their purchase and i think i will be too Unfortunately i dont think any of the airsofters in my area own either the sopmod so they prob wont have any experience with this gun, but they prob know enough to help me out. Then again i have opened up my G36C several times and taken it apart completely and changed the spring so I have some experience but im gonna see what i do. I wanna get better at working on guns so i guess the best way to learn is by doing, but i might get som
  9. Thanks for the help! looks like im most likely getting a socom, since its basically has all the benefits of the sopmod (except the quick change battery) plus its easier to upgrade and its easier to get a bigger battery in it Richard Ill send a PM now about some springs and stuff. I would definitely appreciate more tips and advice on upgrade parts and response on the sopmod or socom from people who have had theirs for a while
  10. yea thats one of the things i liked about it too, since i already have several 8.4 and 9.6v batteries it would definitely save me some money and since it is basically the same gun except for the battery I might be leaning more towards it now. Ok thanks for the upgrade tips Im most likely looking at a new spring, barrel, and possibly some new bushings. Anyone else have any tips on upgrade parts, would like to hear from people that own the gun as well since they know from first hand experience wat works best. Links are greatly appreciated, preferably from redwolf since thats where im gonna be o
  11. I have started reading through this entire thread since im deciding on whether or not to buy a sopmod or maybe a socom and there seems to be a lot of good information here. Ive read to pg 14 so far, but i decided to skip ahead and post and then i can go back and read later So my first question is how are ppls sopmods or socoms working now, would really like to hear from the ppl that have had theirs for a while now to see if theyre still holding up? I also would like to know what you think I should get, a sopmod or a socom? originally i was going to get the sopmod, i really love everythin
