  1. Here's my back garden.. we have particularly tenacious Jehovah's Witnesses in my neck of the woods...
  2. Hmm... well I like a bit of wear and tear on an AEG - maybe not *quite* as much as that but regardless I like the look of it SW (filthy, CA M249 user that you are!)
  3. I had the same problem last week, I did a search but couldn't find anything helpful mainly because (I suspect) I wasn't sure how to phrase the problem... Anyway, I put it down to having a new version of Firefox on the PC and not having been online for some time.. so I cleared all the settings in the browser and all seemed hunky and indeed dory again... (shrugs)
  4. Nice collection! I like the MP5 Kurtz best for some reason
  5. Ah, fancy, new-fangled, technology.. when I were a lad (and all this were fields..) Not that anyone will be interested but I shall type it anyway, I had a kind of rights of passage experience in the last couple of weeks (not unlike Luke at the pyre of Vader) when I burnt my childhood lightsabre... it was one of the crappy red, torch-like ones with the plastic tube (which was always a bit bent and had the half-a-ping-pong-ball-like top to it) It never worked very well, made no noises and glowed about as strongly as a boil or chilblain, but, it was a present from my late grandmother when
  6. Will do matey! I'm still not 100% that I'll do it but if I do, it won't be at least for a couple of weeks as I'm off to Sennybridge soon If I do spray it, it will be plain OD like Havoc's M4 with distressing.. Cheers F
  7. Thanks for the reply Havoc and Firefox too I think I'll get hold of some Krylon and give the old Minimi a dusting.. I'm going to 'distress' mine too that's to say artificially wear it off because I like a gun to look 'lived in' Cheers F
  8. OD Krylon? I ask because there are all kinds of OD made by all kinds of manufacturers and Havoc's is a nice flat OD tone - so I was wondering if it was something exotic like a Krylon paint or something more ordinary like from Halford's for example Cheers F
  9. Havoc, that's a very nice paintjob on there, good work fella! What did you use on it? (Was it Krylon or something less 'exotic'?) I ask because it's a nice tone OD and I've been looking at my Minimi recently and thinking about some greening here and there.. Cheers F
  10. According to a UK retailer I spoke to about 4-6 weeks ago there was a compact in the works by someone, possibly G&P.. I wish they'd make a TA31 too.. Cheers F
  11. I've got my NSN TA01 fitted in the carry handle of my M4 variant - just bolts in nicely (after un-bolting it from the rail fitting it sits on) and fits quite snugly. BTW Solo, nice picture and nice set-up.. is that a real TA31 ACOG on it per chance? I must confess like Evil K I think Armalites (let's not get picky over the terminolgy for those who say they're AR15 etc. etc.) are lovely.. so as for the guys who think they're suitable for wall-hanging only I would, respectfully, say: cobblers! Cheers F Edit for clarification of how the TA01 fits and the cobblers comment
  12. Yeah the NSN has the cross-hair and the TA11 has the arrow reticle Cheers F

    And a path! A path! A path!
  14. Actually, much to my annoyance, he was pretty good.. I think he's better on-screen than off. And I was recently told by a seller that a mini-ACOG is in the works from (I think) G&P but obviously can't swear that's true.. But it's kinda back on topic.. Cheers F
  15. Nope, I did actually mean the guy who plays Colin Farrel... meaning he's acting all the time, playing Colin Farrel.. It's probably best to ignore me, anyone who is 1) Better looking 2) More successful 3) Richer than I am always annoys me and because all three are very easy to achieve I'm constantly in a state of perpetual anger.. However, once I become Galactic Emperor Frangible I then a lot of people are going to have to watch-out!! Cheers F
  16. Total un-related aside here but I can't watch the guy who's playing Colin Farrel.. off-screen, on-screen.. he just annoys the ar$e off me!! Cheers F
  17. Here's a quick pic (I hope) of my M4 variant with the TA01 in the carry handle. Photography is not my forte! Cheers F
  18. Glad you're liking it! I love my ACOG(s)! I hope someone will make a replica of the TA31 sooner rather than later.. kind of a hybrid between the two existing G&P ones in terms of appearance. They're currently used by UKSF and will soon be on general issue (if they're not already) to the USMC I believe. Let's hope someone sees the market for one soon Cheers F
  19. Yeah, definitely.. Mine's a custom M4, it's an A2 body (with the fixed handle) and the TA01 sits nicely in the handle itself and looks good. Before I had them both on a weaver rail but now a mate of mine will be borrowing the TA11 on his ICS M4.. the weird thing is it seems to really suit the ICS much more than my Hurricane-based hybrid.. Can't say why, it just does! Go figure Cheers F
  20. Yes there's a G&P replica of it - it's a 4x35 (as Whitefeather says) replica of a Trijicon TA11 - the real steel one is here: http://www.trijicon-inc.com/user/parts/pro....cfm?PartID=146 I have one (as well as a TA01 NSN) and it's nice. The fibre optic is just a dummy one and doesn't illuminate the reticle at all. It's got a nice big lens on it which is great for spotting and provides a very mild form of light intensification too.. The eye-relief is better on the TA11 rather than the TA01 in my experience but I think the TA01 looks cooler and fits much better on my M4 Will pos
