  1. I can't remember the site, but I was able to find a replacement from Honeywell's aeronautical division. Look at the part number on the switch and you might be able to find it on some of these large online electronic stores, although you do need to trim some of the contact tabs to make it fit. I would recommend a MOSFET/Computer with a 'debounce' program (http://extreme-fire.com/) , to help route the higher motor voltage away from the trigger contacts. The rig I have has a computerize MOSFET plus an additional Control Unit that houses the debounce program. In theory I believe if you know what y
  2. Awesome analogy. So far I haven't had any bad experiences with the gearbox shell, but I've also tried not to go crazy with performance, instead trying to put a slightly better then stock performance in ROF and FPS. Most of my upgrades have been centered around being more reliable. Sorbo pads will help the spread the energy transfer of the piston striking the front, and additionally can help your AOE to extend piston life. Personally I think a lot of people just want unnecessary performance out of somethings and push things out of their limits. Factors that can contribute to cracked gearbox
  3. Very nice, how is the output on it? Am I to assume that you play a decent amount of CQB to have one of those bad boys on it.
  4. That is just an beautiful black acr build there. Is the M720V real-steel?
  5. It could be that they are halting production of them due to surplus, I think the two can be confused easily.
  6. I believe most people glue the nub so that it doesn't fall out when changing barrels.
  7. Very nice looking paint job, really like the leaf patterns on it.
  8. I think most people who have bought an ACR, have replaced the bucking with one that works (I used a G&G). Although in general a lot of people will replace their hop up buckings as a standard upgrade. It is a very easy thing to do, especially with the ACR quick barrel changing feature.
  9. From I can see, there is a lot wrong with this ACR, as it looks like they just slapped on every after market part that they could find. The RIS makes the the SPR Stock look really odd.
  10. Honestly I've always liked the look of the polymer handguard vs the RIS, also the practicality of the the empty space for a MOSFET and battery makes more sense as well. Although I do like to look at things that are not meant to be, so I look forward to seeing the horrific look of it of the RIS+SPR barrel.
  11. I actually like it more with the normal handguard, makes it look more slimmed down and lighter. Also sounds like my taste might also save me some money too, haha
  12. Looks really nice, so sad that I have to spend money on my car right now.
  13. It's a shame PTS declared that they had no plans on doing an electric blowback, which is a shame since a certain professional firearms instructor said that he preferred the electronic versions (specifically TM) compared to GBBR for professional cross training.
  14. If you are planning on trying to install it into a PTS ACR, you might have some problems with modding the gearbox or lower receiver, due to the motor cage on the gearbox, either modification would be very difficult. Additionally if you are planning on dremelling any part of the upper receiver, plan on going through a lot of bits.
