  1. Nope, not just you ! As a prolific seller (down to impulse buys) I wished Arnies did have a greater audience for the classified sections. There is a high degree of difficulty to sell stuff on Arnies and most times, I have to discount to way below what I paid for, sometimes 60% below, even for brand new, never been used gear. I noticed that prices achieved in "lesser" forums are generally 15-20% better than here. ACM/replica stuff is pretty easy to shift but higher end gear and RS stuff is pretty slow going. But the overriding question, for me at least, was always: Was
  2. How's the K2 grip? been mulling over this or the Umbrella Corp one
  3. Depends what length you barrel is, anything over 10.5, go with the 11" RIS or longer.
  4. Thanks for the kind words It's not RS, it's Madbull. I do like it but all the cool kids have Centurion Arms and I just want to be part of their group
  5. Giving my LM4 another chance. The Viking Tactics RIS will be changed when PTS release the Centurions Arms CMR
  6. C'mon PTS!!! Release the Centurion Arms CMR pleaseeeeeeeeeeee......

  7. The RIS itself is not too bad, but the barrel nut (the first one that goes on to secure the barrel to the upper) is made of a particularly weak grade of pot metal.
  8. Whilst I haven't looked too much into detail, the Dytac barrel's fit perfectly well on a SOPMOD upper and is dead center as Airsoft standards go. If you install same barrel onto a RECCE upper, it slants to the right by about 7.5mm. It could just be the URX4 RIS, I definitely need to try other rails on the RECCE, was thinking a Madbull FDE Troy.
  9. Slice and dice Dremel RIS off, then dremel first barrel nut, then it comes off. The RECCE upper is actually slightly different to the SOPMOD upper.
  10. Sub standard, the threads have started to fade and the barrel nut has started to deform.
  11. My last 3 M4's Tokyo Marui SOPMOD - Madbull Noveske NSR 11" RIS with Dytac 16" outter barrel Tokyo Marui Recce - Dytac URX4 10" with original TM 12" outter barrel Tokyo Marui SOPMOD - Madbull Daniel Defense MK18 9.5" RIS with Dytac 10.5" outter barrel
  12. Some new additions Arc'teryx LEAF Naga Hoody HSGI AO small chest rig 3 x HSGI single TACO's 1 x HSGI Blowout pouch Left hand - Oakley SI Assault Glove Right hand - Oakley SI Lightweight Glove Both are officially Foilage Green but, as you can see, very grey indeed
  13. I literally just had delivered the HSGI AO Small Chest Rig in urban grey, I have three single TACO's and a Blowout pouch. I plan to assemble it this weekend so I'll upload the pictures then.
  14. I tried, wouldn't budge. If it's meant to come off this way then I need more brute strength. Having looked at the explosion diagram again, there seems to be two separate barrel nuts. Anyway, thanks for all the suggestions folks!
  15. So all I would need to do is take of gas tube, gas block, the 6 hex screws, turn RIS anti clockwise and it will come off?
  16. I have the G&P URX tool, circumference is too wide to fit inside the DD rail. I tried to figure out how they put it on from the explosion diagram, must be a bespoke tool in the TM factory.
  17. OK, so this is my issue. IIRC, a Madbull DD AR15 Lite RIS comes off after you take out the 6 hex screws. After removing these on my RECCE, RIS is still ROCK SOLID attached. I wish I could take photo's of this KAC type barrel nut on there, but it's too difficult to get a clear shot. To the Dremel!
  18. Will do when I'm back in the UK. Before I left, the issue I had was when you unscrew the usual DD mechanism (4 hexes facing inwards, 2 at the bottom facing outwards) the RIS is still attached because of this KAC type barrel nut.
