  1. The main body was a complete kit from smokeys gun works in Japan, sold in the early 90,s. At the time you then had to buy a complete marui ak47 to strip for the barrel, hop unit and gearbox, the hit came with a 3 inch brass extension nozzle and uses only the magazines from the marui mpl.
  2. Yes sold in 1991 , research says it's one of a very limited number (I've read only 12) made
  3. Smokeys, garage gun works swedish k ,gun kit uses doner v3 gearbox ,ak hop and marui mpl springer mags
  4. marui uzi with real wood stock conversion
  5. more photos as requested. basically started out as a dboys spr, top rail and ejection port cover removed, rear body built up using aluminium and body filler. fake bolt fitted and mag latch manufactured, mag released by pulling knurled bolt at rear. hop wise its the m4 hop inverted and fitted with a fixed nub , the silver tube behind the hop operates the bb catch on the p90 mag. the battery fits in a cut out in the lower ris and covered by the rail cover
  6. ar57 project, nearly there and actually feeds from the p90 mag, though do get fed up with people telling me ive dropped my mag.
  7. tm uzi with real wood stock, which fits with minor mods.
  8. well the box is dissmantled and its definatly the bevel gear axle thats sheared off. I have read on another forum that due to the m120 spring used the gearbox is of the torque up type gear ratio, mine when checked is 20.64-1 Ive also read that a high torque motor should be used with high torque gears g&p are using a 120 high speed type motor. Ive been told that damaged axles and stripped gears are what will happen using a high speed motor with a heavy spring and a torque up box. I have replaced the bevel gear with a standard xyt making the gear ratio 18.72-1 and fitted a m100 progres
  9. well another broken gearbox to add to the thread ,under 100 rounds and the bevel gear axle snapped. i find this a ridiculous fault with g&p gearboxes none of my cheap poorly shimmed china clones have ever broken a gear axle , yet this seems to be a regular occurance with g&p surley someone has told them their gears are ###### and to sort them out, there supposed to be a high end gun but qc sucks.
  10. thanks for clearing that up, i had it wrong after reading a piece from a us website, the singlepoint oeg was the origional as used in the sontay raid and when production ceased, armson took over producing a redisgned model which they still sell
  11. the armson oeg is a single point, the same one that was sold in the uk , if you look at the sontay photos you can see the red single point lettering on the rear of the sight
  12. classic army xm177e2 with genuine armson oeg sight ala sontay, and ics m16a3 presently being converted to m16a1.
  13. can someone please tell me if any of the body parts are interchangable with the a&k version as im interested in putting the fixed stock on mine , the design of the attatchment point looks the same as mine but i have no comparison to dimensions ( i have the a&k)
  14. i am very tempted by this for mine, but im also tempted to hang on as i can see the next move will be to include blowback into the design and that will be worth the wait, allbeit with a lower shot count from the co2 bulb
