The velcro was some rubbishy stuff which came with the helmet..............I want some for the back and to redo the top. 1m of hook and loop, 50mm tan for £2.30 from ebay! WIN! Just need: A V-lite- maybe MLPS dual NVG bungees I love that EI yoke pack. Thanks Master_Titled you get all credit, as you inspired it................. EDIT: Pkekyo nor, I love that nvg mount. I want one!

With or without fuse? (im not very knowledgable but)
Well I ALWAYS use a fuse in my "beast." As if something does go "pop" its the fuse not the wiring or gearbox etc.
Think about, it could be the most expensive fuse you never bought!
Would you use your toaster without a fuse?

Just as a side note, the skate board grip tape is a good solution.
However if you double stack your mags its increases the friction to much!
I use a fast mag which for it to function properly it meant I removed all of the grip apart from the first level.
I dont know of the precut griptape is better then.

I just use it as my first draw mag, then top it up with my other mags as a go along. but alright bud, if you can't see the value of that then don't buy it! If all the literature and demo's available don't convince you then nothing will.

Im considering the same thing as you in terms of putting a madbull ris II on my sopmod. I asked Madbull "Is there any difference between the madbull ris 2 to the socom gear ris 2?" and they said "No there is not, SOCOM Gear transferred production of the Daniel Defense rails to us the middle of 2010" Thats why the SG are no longer in stock...............
