Yea .. that looks pretty sweet, if you can put up details of how you may of just persuaded me to buy one -
So .. little bit of necro .. and it is possible these things may of been mentioned some where back but there may also be a better set of options now. Right I have acquired myself a lovely Type 97 again .. I am most happy. But advice would be useful in terms of what upgrades people would suggest (having had a 97B in the past I found it pretty awesome OOTB) but is there things people would suggest? My other questions, I want to attach a rail to the side .. this looks pretty simple but every rail set I look at (been looking at G36c rail sets) shows bolts / screws (please excuse me I

Just some filming (Youtube / amateur stuff) I am armouring on, they specifically pointed at an MP7 for the main hero and I wanted one that is passably usable in airsoft as well

True that, I sold my Type 97B a while back and I think if I see one come up second hand I may grab a full size one.
If not .. see if I can push the budget and grab one from ehobby.

I think that was my thought process ... I wanted one ... then I remembered I sold Ollie mine and he said I could buy it back once I got back to good money levels and then I bought it. And now I am waiting at my post box .. haha nah no am not ... but I would if I could.

Thanks to Ollie being the truest Gentleman my MP9 will be coming back to daddy ... it had a nice holiday being looked after by master Mp9's-man Ollie but now it must come back to my crude and rough hands .

Question time .. can you fit a small sized battery into a UBR stocks buffer tube? Or am I being dim witted and this is a ridiculous question.

Ahhh thanks CK, that saves a lot of hassle, think I shall have to grab myself the UBR and the neccessary deans stuff soon .. see how Christmas goes maybe buy it all early Jan.

I have a UBR stock and the only batteries you can realistically fit in them are the lipo ones. CK pointed you in the right direction for where you can buy them. Even if you fashioned a series of NiMH batters in a line, the tube is not long enough to house more than about 5 cell giving you a combined voltage of 6v, which I don't think will be powerful enough turn most gearboxes.

I picked this up from Armourpiercing on Sunday, unrailed Sig SP2022 in the style of the SP2009 from The Bourne Identity (If he notices this he can probably explain more than I can ) The rank pins if anyone is curious are Colonel pins from Battlestar Galactica.
