  1. Have any of you guys tried to up the fps by changing the rocket valve spring to a harder one?
  2. Is the gearbox for this gun already out, am having a difficult time sourcing it.
  3. The Olive Drab version is out, am actually contemplating on getting one even if gearbox is a pain to source.

Use a very weak flute valve spring!
  5. Hmmmm, come to think of it the SD is the better version since barrel can be longer due to supressor shroud, not to mention the battery space is slightly bigger.
  6. Looks like ICS used their existing upper and lower gearbox for their AR series, available years ago. Was thinking incase there is an epic fail on the electronic burst switch, we can still use standard switch for version 2 and maybe swap it to a standard MP5 trigger. Simply put its a safe buy, wont be a wallhanger when things go wrong.

Try to use the stock nozzle parts sans flute valve, that may eventually do it.

Man I am stumped at your situation sir, and to be honest I find it a bit amusing, hehe. Ok let me think about it and would get back to you when I have something else in mind.

I believe it can be done because that was my problem before, my gun not cycling properly. My agm sans flute valve was running 640 fps on propane, but bcg travels only a few cm backwards, not enough to cock the hammer let alone loat a bb round. Experiment with using a smaller o-ring at the back of loading nozzle. This will make your setup less efficient since it vents some blowback gas out of the chamber and pushing the bcg less backwards. It may not be optimal but at least you have a bolt action rifle in the end. Another thing is to add a spacer on your buffer tube, or make the buffer spring s

The parts you removed is correct and are the ones was referring to. Actually am not that much surprised since we have discovered that taking out the flute valve in some cases would not have any effect on the normal cycle of the gun. I believe that in some cases the sealing inside the BCG and loading nozzle is tight, meaning you have an efficient setup - hence BCG still cycles. Have you tried using only 134a gas? This may be too weak to fully cycle the BCG. OT: Not wishing anything bad to your gun but the stock charging handle of AGM is pot metal, you may eventually break this since you ha

Correct sir, sorry I did not fully comprehend your first question about the bolt action requirement. Anyway since you require a bolt action rifle, then what you can do is take out the flute valve inside the loading nozzle. This will still move your BCG (Bolt Carrier Group) rearwards but may not be enough to cock the hammer and even load the next round, hence necessitating to pull the charging handle fully everytime. Although taking out the flute valve dramatically increases your fps, so you may need to use a lesser gas like 134a to be playable.

An AR is not a bolt action rifle in the true sense of the word sir, but you can surely convert this to a semi auto gun. Just remove the full auto disconnect.

Took me a couple of months of figuring out, experimenting, not to mention several failures before it finally worked flawlessly. As for giving out the actual dimensions and solutions to niggles, hmmm. Let me think about it.
  14. G&G made the right decisions on not using those awful capsule shaped bushings on the spur gear, G&G gearbox material is one of the best, plus their scew hardwares do not easily lose its thread. The F2000 is the easiest gun to use on the field, even if it looks awkward to some. Seems to me that those fixes pointed out are really not that hard to make, and I agree that the hop chamber has improved dramatically over G&G's earlier versions for the M4. Am just waiting for the Olive Drab version to come out, since the black version is my second choice. Too bad G&G did not have real
  15. The MP5 is one of the must haves on my airsoft arsenal. It is timeless and even if its 40 years old I still want to hang it on my wall. The stamped steel receiver is what I really am after, those alloy receivers so prevalent nowadays just don't do it for me.
  16. EBR Prototype done and already working, check it out at airsoftnews! Made of cnc'd aluminum and looks way lighter than the Kart EBR. Specs below: - MK14 MOD 0 configurations - 100% CNC from aluminum alloy - 100% mil-spec - fully adjustable stock (length) - fully adjustable cheek rest - full underside rail (identical to the RS gun's) - drop-in conversion for our Classic AWSS M14 - available as a conversion kit, and also as a complete gun
  17. Now THAT is a proper review. Thank you for your effort sir, I may purchase this one for the steel receiver since ics is taking too long for their MP5 version to come out, and am sure this is cheaper. Selector plate looks like reinforced on the side, nice touch on the c-clip on the hop, better hold and lock stays in place but I think you can still use an ordinary c-clip. I hope the charging handle spring guide base plate is steel, looks too thin for cast metal. The 2 o-rings at the back of the hop may be there to serve as a guide for the nozzle, maybe. It may also be there to help seal the nozz

Here is the internal brass piston that I had made for the nozzle, head has an o-ring and rod actually pushes the BCG backwards instead of gas. Although expanding gas actually does the work in pushing this piston, this setup saves on gas and there is no need to fill the insides of the BCG. Also modified the inner part of nozzle where large o-ring sits, this acts as guide for piston rod. There are several other things to me done before everything works perfect. This is just one way of modifying the nozzle, I can think of another where whole nozzle is thinner and has a smaller o-ring at the back

Blowback feels like a gbb pistol on green gas, definitely not as strong kicking as before my mods. Will try to post a photo on that custom piston I intalled.

    AGM M4 GBB

Been toying around for a few months on and off regarding putting a small piston inside the nozzle. My point being that recoil gases used is too much for the WA system. Adding a piston inside the nozzle to push the BCG back would dramatically reduce the gas consumed on blowback. Finally was able to do this with success, highest reading so far on .2 is 450 fps, can probably up the readings by using a stronger flute valve spring. I can also finish 30 rounds easily on one trigger pull! After 30 rounds there is still enough gas inside for another load of BBs. Cool down is not as bad as stock se
  21. Beautiful gun, you do need to add a lens cover though, a cracked lens is no joke.

    AGM M4 GBB

Hmmm, I now see your point sir, ALL gases expelled from mag is either diverted to blowback or bb propelling duty. So its either having higher chrono readings or higher blowback. But am sure you will agree with me that efficiency on gas expelled is crucial in any case, as gas should be used exclusively on those two actions only. As I mentioned earlier part no. 4 has a lot of leak. What I do is use a small o-ring, the one installed on nozzles on aegs and straddle this on part no. 4, this will seal the rear blowback chamber beautifully. Also lubricate using grease on the insides of BCG so large o

    AGM M4 GBB

Youre absolutely correct sir, not to mention cooldown is faster on colder countries. I think if I live in a cold place I would opt for aegs, even with batteries not agreeing with the weather you can still compensate for higher amperage or voltage.
  24. Now that is really amazing. Real sword releasing all their parts even up to the bits and pieces inside the gearbox. Good move on RS in doing so, who likes to buy a gun that will be a wall hanger, thanks for the link l96ninja. Did not know that G&P has a GBBR of this gun out now, but for the price I would prefer the aeg version. I had to mill a full tooth metal teeth piston in half because the stock piston will surely strip on the 160 spring.
  25. R6-rider, I believe that the sp130 spring is unforgiving, fully compressed it is still long compared to 140-170 springs. The culprit may be the spacer at the back of the piston head, that spacer may be too long for the spring. Try to shave or cut it so that spring can be cranked, also this is way better than cutting the spring. Hope this helps people.
