    KJW M4

So, update. Apparently, it's not a problem with US retailers, but rather KJW as a whole. They are behind in magazine production, by about a year. Not just the M4, but all their guns. No idea on when it'll start back up again, so don't expect any mags to show up soon unfortunately. Sorry

    GHK KAC PDW

Ambient testing temperature is about 25C, and it averaged about 392fps. It's supposed to be factory tuned 120m/s. The hopup is very good, 150ft shots are easily achieved with .25g, unfortunately, I only tested it during a night game, so I can't tell how it drops off at extreme distances. But up to 100ft the flight path is very flat and stable. And I didn't make it clear, it's not full metal on metal, because that would be stupid. The only metal that clashes on metal is the recoiling silver rod that sits on a spring. They realized all metal on immobile metal would be tough on t

Ok, I lied, I under-estimated the conversion rates. It's actually closer to $45 per mag. 1500TWD=46.56900 U.S. dollars

    GHK KAC PDW

From my crude magnet test I can tell the trigger, sear, mag catch, and part of the bolt is steel. The rest I'd need a smaller magnet to figure out. As for the version, this is the version 3, I'm not using the official versions, my version only goes by the cosmetics. GHK originally produced one with really crappy externals, so they scrapped that and then produced this version with the correct externals, that's the real version 2, and version 3 has updated internals. Which is the one I just got. The store has an old GHK PDW that has been tested for well over 50 mags and still going. Min

PICTURES! Most of you already know what it looks like, so I'll skip most of the generic pictures. But feel free to ask if you want a specific angle or shot. So, here's what it looks like when you open the box (well, missing the mag) spare mags I bought Uses M4 mags The little silver part there is metal, and it's what gives this gun the best sounding CLINK I've heard from a GBBR. MARKINGS! And some picture of the manual It's really simple The gun is so awesome, that GHK tells you to keep tightening the sights, otherwise, they'll fall off Which is no j
  6. I saw one at the local store, it's not bad. I mean, it's your average reflex sight, in a different body. I'm tempted to slap one on my PDW

I looked around and didn't see a topic yet. So I thought I'd make one since I just bought one of these babies. I had the chance to test one of these recently, and I was sold instantly and ordered one on the spot. Unfortunately, no pics right now, but soon. First thought: "OMG AWESOME" is an understatement. If you remember my awe at the KJW M4 last year, this is even better. At least it sounds better. Unlike the KJW, which has plastic smashing plastic/metal, this is more of an upgraded WA/G&P metal bolt smashing metal. It produces a really crisp CLINK when fired. And the perceived

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, if anyone wants mags, I'm in Taiwan right now and I can get them for you for about $40 each.
  9. No love for the P210? Q_Q I guess I'll just have to DOUBLE THE AWESOME It's honestly a beautiful piece of work. Notice anything missing? That's right, no seam lines. The quality Marushin puts into their pieces really shows here.

    $1K club.

I want one of those, so badly. When I get some more money, I am buying a Maruzen l96 and making one >: (

Still great, I kept it lubed, left it alone for 3 months, came back, still shot fine for over 30mags.

The other included o-rind seemed slightly better, but it's still not there. I'm kind of baffled as to why the o-ring is less efficient even though my original piston head had a hole in it

Yep, I made sure to watch the video more than once when installing it. I did notice the piston wasn't fully sealing with the cylinder, so I added some teflon tape under the oring to compensate. I think there is still too much gas venting. I'm going to try getting a thicker oring and see if that might fix it. Otherwise I will try to get a new KJW piston. Oh yeah, I am LOVING the velocity adjuster. It works like a charm, and it's actually not too hard to replace when needed.

Just a quick question, anyone notice a decrease in gas efficiency with t_hum's parts? or am I just doing something wrong?

It doesn't have to be THAT one, any barrel with the same cut would work.

    KJW M4

Yes, it is a problem that all KJW M4's apparently suffers from, not sure about the newer ones, but all the first batch #1-250 does. My solution is to find an o-ring that can sit inside the lips and glue it in. And Raven,t_hum, keep us updated on the nozzle if you will, I'm really interested in one. Oh, one more thing, you can order spare parts from KJW, so the best idea would be to make some flow restricters, and then buy new bolt assemblies. That way, you can easily swap fps as you like.

And, I just got word from KJW, for those with an overseas M4 under serial number 250, you can email them for the replacement buffer spring and plug, you'll just have to pay shipping.
