  1. I actually hate you right now for showing me that Surefire tac-light...I'm about to be poor
  2. Never expect perfection. Ever. You will just wind up hating every purchase. Instead be aware of what the product is. The Inokatsu 1911 is a full steel airsoft 1911. It is the only full steel 1911. It is not perfect, however it is certainly the most realistic airsoft 1911 on the market. The tolerances on my own are excellent. Tight slide to frame fit, no rattle. I'm ecstatic with mine, but don't get me wrong...the price is a mouthful no matter what way you look at it. I have built a Nova/TM 1911 and it wound up costing more than the Inokatsu, and there is no comparison - Inokatsu wins h
  3. @DrAlexanderTobacco: I have found it to be the magazine at fault - it can sit a little higher in the gun, which impedes the bolt. If you insert the magazine, and then pull down on the magazine the gun cocks every time. At least mine does!
  4. Never had a problem attaching any of my pistol accessories onto the M9A1's rail - they went on as easy onto the TM's plastic rail as they did onto the KJW M9A1's, so no hassle there. Some Chinese-made optics can be a little out of spec, and the plastic is not as flexible. You can break them in on metal 20mm RIS rails though, which will help make it easier to attach onto the TM.
  5. If you want to stop the slide from moving while holstering, simply decock the hammer and holster the pistol with your thumb on the hammer. That will stop the slide from moving rear-ward
  6. My fault - understood what you meant, just wanted to add that it has not personally happened me. How many mags do you have? I have six, so remember that as far as I am concerned wear and tear is more distributed. The fact that the BB's are visible the whole way down, as well as the mag channel being quite wide it does give ample room for dirt and grit to get in there. I would have preferred a more enclosed channel
  7. Demoncase went through the issue in a lot of detail - I suggest you read his post in full. The jist of the matter is that if your nozzle is going to blow, it will do so very fast due to the weaker nozzle. It is not endemic to all of the TM MP7's...certainly nor my one at least. If you have one with a blown nozzle then buy the replacement creation one and let us know how you get on. If you're on the fence about buying one in fear of the nozzle exploding, then buy the creation nozzle at the same time. Sort of a safety net...so to speak. PS: For anyone who was experiencing the bolt not
  8. I can also confirm Darklite's observations and solution; it does seem that there's a tad too much friction on the bolt when fully loaded with BB's. Just leave out a couple and you're sorted!
  9. Just to add, like hwagan, I've put through well over 3,500 rds through this gun all on Green Gas (albeit in Irish temperatures) and there is literally no tells that the pistol has been used. Seriously; there is no wear on this beauty at all. If you're a fan of the M9, and want a skirmish-ready side arm that can be used as an effective primary (if you are so inclined...which I am), then this is the gun for you. I have absolutely zero reservations about recommending this gun. Buy it.
  10. Got it from EHobby - tried Redwolf twice, but they aren't shipping it into Ireland for some obscure reason Import ban exists, and is on legislation but is not enforced (and cannot be until retailers licenses are introduced) - they are clamping down big time at the moment, so you need to ensure anything you import is under 1 joule, as more and more packages are being stopped and destroyed
  11. How many properly documented? I wouldn't be surprised that there are a lot of breakages due to the fact TM have never done this kind of product before, so it is new territory for them. I would question how many there actually are though. My own arrived this Friday, and fielded it all day on Sunday putting through a close to 500rds on Green Gas, without as much as hiccough. Cool down was non-existent until the very last game (17.30-ish) at circa 2 degrees Centigrade, so needless to say I'm impressed. Similarly, this is the most fun I have ever had with an airsoft gun...period. It was su
  12. *Tactical Handbag Equipped* In all sincerity, what the hell? Lads I get that there is some animosity between users, and overall dislikes of posting styles...but is the confrontation entirely necessary? No one is scaremongering - people are posting about their experiences, and it is helping. I had one on order with Redwolf, but they won't ship to Ireland (no idea why), and so since the order's been cancelled I'm in no hurry to replace it. This is Marui; they have proven themselves time and again in performance and quality. They are not beyond reproach though. People are of the opinion
  13. Ordered from redwolf; hopefully it arrives soon! Even if the nozzles blows itself apart, I couldn't care less - being Marui it will attract a phenomenal amount of aftermarket support, so I'm not exactly worried.
  14. The store you ordered it from may have been sold it as new, but it may not have been. I recently received a refurbished KSC M9 sold to me as brand new - was not impressed

    WE XDM

Thread lock really is the answer, on whichever part you care least about...for me that's the silencers; thread lock the adapter into the silencer and you're sorted
  16. Yup, as mentioned in the OP I've used it with: HFC, KJW, WE and HK3P magazines TM perform the best, followed by KJW and HK3P/WE (no difference between them), with HFC being the worst of the bunch
  17. Aye - I've bolted on a Micro Laser and Torch to act as a LAM unit. I like the look of it, for the most part, but it does look a little on the large side As far as power goes, I forgot to add that 280-ish FPS is in Irish temperature, so will obviously be higher in the warmer parts of the world
  18. Skin Deep/At a Glance: FPS: Circa 280 w/0.20g BB, depending on weather WEIGHT: A reasonable 0.73kg ACCURACY: Equal to Marui 1911/Hi-Capa/PX4 CONSISTENCY: Provided you don't shoot too fast, it's perfect RELIABILITY: Pull this from your holster and this will do the job, everytime! ECONOMY: By the time it lands you're looking at €200. Running costs are negligible, and considering how long this will last it's money well spent. In-Depth: The M9A1 is one of the latest pistols released from Tokyo Marui, and is easily one of the most anticipated - it marks a seminal moment in their histo
  19. Nope - not KJW internals My own personal one is nigh on perfect. No play between slide and frame, literally. Perhaps I just got lucky...but I for one am a seriously happy camper! It is not a modern 1911, so the Kimber from RA tech will likely appeal to more people...but it is a steel pistol that kicks like hell! Having skirmished this I can tell you that it will never be sold. Is this a logical or sane purchase? No. It's one that if you have to question it, it's not for you. Sad, but true
  20. The best advice I ever read RE: TM gear and green gas is that you just use it till the slide cracks, and then replace the slide with another stock plastic slide...they're like $6 on EHobby (this was in relation to 1911's). The PX4 slide is available, and I have no doubts that so too will the XDM in the not too distant future. I'm interested in the XDM...but I'm not sure why. I already have 32 pistols, and it's not exactly the most attractive...but there is just something about it
  21. As far as I know, the problem is not the cut off lever, but rather how the gearbox is seated. Try re-seating the gearbox
