By 'slider' do you mean the bolt? Did you install the rubber band correctly?

Has anyone figured out how Ehobby mounted the Magpul ASAP on the EAC KJ M4s? Did they mill out a PTS, or is it the RS? I feel like the RS would be too wide.

The bolt going forwards if you slam in a magazine too hard is common, or at least I've seen it in the 4 that have been in my team. About it getting stuck half way back, the only thing that I could think of causing that is a bent bolt stop, or dirty internals. Have you tried cleaning it? How often do the problems happen?

AEG outer barrels take minimal modification in order to work, simple as taking the AEG barrel and cutting it to be the same shape as your KJ barrel with a Dremel. Inner barrels are sold by both T_Hum here on the boards and RA Tech. Making a DMR out of these guys is simple with a small bit of elbow grease .

I feel like this was skipped over! I helped convert my friend's KJ to take a full stock, but it meant boring out the rear of the stock cap in order to put threads in it. Does anyone have this conversion yet? I'm very interested in it.

Did anyone figure out if these are going to be coming with the normal Glock trades on the side instead of the CIA and Russian trades?

A drop in system would be great, but you never know if they are going to change the hammer design or not with the open bolt system.

Kai - If you are able to tighten it down and the only problem you are facing is wobble, is it barrel wobble or the RIS shaking forwards and backwards making that annoying click noise? If that's the case, just add some electric tape to the front and back of your RIS, where it meets the rings so it won't be seen. It'll give you a more solid fit, and won't clack around anymore That being said, now most of your front end is being held together by the friction of electric tape. That might be something to worry about.

Try on the flash hider from another gun that you know the thread direction of?

Glad to hear the success Kai! Any updates with the ring staying on the front of the plastic upper? When firing does it come loose?

I take it that the threads are plastic? Maybe it's just because the barrel is making too much of a gap from your threads to the RIS, although I'm not sure why it wouldn't tighten down...? Have you tried with the stock nut? Just to see if it works with normal hand guards?

The L.A.W. uppers look really cool, but I bet it would be hard for us in the U.S. to order them, with customs and all. Gah, making me want an M16A4 upper really bad there... and they made a full stock. Screw the mags, I want those accessories!!

Yeah, I was talking about your post back on page 4, on the 8th when you still had the stickers on the outside. Did you move them inside the shell?

Whomever did the fake bullet stickers could easily have put the decals inside their magazine shell to get the look they want! I'm liking how the mag design looks from the outside.
