Would this fit railed frame P229?

Hey, what kind of hexwrench do you guys use to take the optical sight off to put a rail on top? I haven't fonud short enough hex head to fit in there. Not that the optic is that bad, but using the 'short carbine' barrel kit, I'd like a red dot instead of the scope for the close engagement range.

Funny thing, there's now a full-stocked version of the HwaSan available from factory. Which probably is better fit than adapting one from something else. Like the one I have...

It's 100% electric, from chinese SuperSoco. Spokes are not that rare in this kind of cafe racers, and one of the 'discs' at rear is actually the electric hub motor.

Well, it'd depend on what version of TM. They have the old AEGS, they have Recoil Shocks which are newer, and they even have their own GBBr system now, but for 733, I think they don't offer it in newer internals yet. 733 is a bit harder to find, anyway, most offer 933, the flattop body with railed front-end, you'd end up hunting for parts...

True about Berget... Not that I ever made it there, no team, and getting there on my own would have been a real hassle without a car, either. Just hope it doesn't go entirely pear-shaped in Sweden, or it might be even further than summer '21 that next Berget gets run...

Yeah, a bit out of my price range as well, and that mounts to standard Picatinny, so would need the adapter anyway.

Yeah, trying to find anything with the USP mount has been a hassle recently. What I find... Doesn't get shipped outside of US. Kinda annoying. I could use a friend as a re-routing point. Some GG&G rail adapters -seem- lightweight enough that they'd be an improvement over the tri-rail adapter, and then I could use any rail mountable pistol light... And some of the sellers on those even ship out of USA, which is starting to seem the best bet.

Ah, I guess I will take a look. Suspect things will get into an expensive mess, anyway. I like the USP except the silly choice of proprietary rail...
