Well, I said 1 in 3 because I thought that one in three have already converted an AEG at high cost and are going to be snotty about it. And another third are upset because they want to replicate non-UKSF loadout, who wouldn't need the L119A1, but an L85A2... Of course, if WE can squeeze a variant of this into a bullpup frame, nine out of ten gun layouts ahve been covered. I think only layouts they wouldn't have covered would be pump- and lever-actions.

Diemaco L119A1 SFW kits or ready-made carbiens would make just about one out of three UK kitter cream their pants. The rest would be had if you could make a GBB L85A2, but that market is probably saturated at the moment with the AEGs.

Rail-mounted shell-holder? You know someone must have made one to get some use out of all those pieces of lego that they insist on putting on shotguns.

Lupus78, a question? have you used regular or Biodegradable BBs in yours? As you certainly know, it's bio-only on most fields here, and I'd like to know if they will survive usage in this. Second... You know, looking at the shiny OD masks gives me a crazy idea... Add shiny-green latex gloves and green-furnitured weapon, and you'll be pretty close to Army Men -look. Talk about plastic soldiers. Then all you need to do is scream whenever someone brings out the magnifying glass on the sunny days.

Longer outer barrel on itself won't affect the velocity. If the inner barrel is longer, that WILL increase the FPS. With GBBs, it's not even 'marginal' as there is no suckback from piston beginning to go back again.

Not so sure about AK being a waste. The M14 and G3 are rather narrow ends, with only few variants opened up, on the other hand, both AR and AK families have plenty of room for 'minor variation' to get most out of the basic design.

Gah... Sounds like I really need to get this... Wish I could get it with Diemaco C8 lower and SFW barrel profile. Or some fun variation of 20" bull barrel and free-float target handguard. Oh well, I bet those options will be in the works before next summer.

Darn, that's a bit on the hot side. :/ But the way it's going looks great. On the other hand, HFC134a might get better, althought the 12g CO2 would be peach, as long as the tuning was easy enough, but not too easy if you get what I mean. Basically that it wouldn't be too easy to crank it to 150+m/s on the field to mess the other players, because that'd be sure way to get these banned from all fields except the Far East ironman ones...

On the L85's... 1) STAR L85's are A2's... 2) ICS is going to be A2, but so far, no one have been able to get theirs in hand yet. 3) G&G does both A1 and A2 4) Army R85 is G&G copy, and I think it's from the A1 model. STAR also has the L22 and LSW out, as well as the weird carbine that has the LSW handguard on slightly shorter rifle. ICS ihas also said they'd do the carbine and LSW front-ends, but of those there is no solid infomration yet (Conversion kits or whole guns, for example)

That's what I thought, but I think there's got to be some further differences inside. Body probably is same, but the way the pump-action and semi-auto bolts are handled can mean that the gas hoses can't go through same spots in the stocks. Oh well, I'll see if I can find a M870 to check out. Annoying to find out at this point, though...

Hmmm... My shotgun project is kind of stalled at the moment. Tried to fit this sliding stock onto my M1100 with some stock problems. Only thing is, in the end the friggin gas hose and stock connector screw are upside down. Since the stock is suppsoedly fittabel to M870, it should fit an M1100 as well, with the bodies identical, right? -Sandstorm

Hmm... Anyone happen to know a DPM magazine pouch that would fit 7.62NATO magazines, FAL or G3 sized? Otherwise my Gen Ops Assault Vest is nice, but sine my primary chocies at the moment are modified MC51s, the regular 5.56NATO mag poiuches don't work. Of ocurse, I could see about getting WAM4 and convert it into L119A1...

Well... UMP stock and HK51 barel + large handguard = yummy if I get a light bipod to add to the forearm railet. The solid-stock SBS is also fun. Both started originally as a MC51, SBS has metal body and a metal SD forearm kit. The HK41 is still with stock body, thinking of that one-piece body for it.

One thing on short shotty, it'll be concealable and/or easily carriable. Idela for breechers who might not want a full-size shotty to hinder them with, say, Mp5's or similar as main guns.

How about a nice 2-pound urn or cardboard casket for her? I think she'd be light enough that even cardboard could handle her...
