If you were to get a higher torque on the barrel nut, it would make it more secure and lessen the movement. I'm weary of tightening it down a lot because of it breaking. The shims help some, but mainly to center the locking lever for stowage.

Add one if you want to decrease the amount of barrel movement . It goes between the outer barrel and hop up assembly. When shooting there will still be some barrel movement.

Played with it again this afternoon/evening. The gun is doing good, minus some cycling issues which I believe to be magazine related. Another pic of it setup for night ops. I think it is worth the money for a ACR replica. Not sure about compatibility with other WE AR trigger components.

I was troubleshooting my M&P today and a piece of metal fell out. It is the tab for the outer barrel that hooks onto the locking lug on the frame. The handgun doesn't cycle because the outer barrel will not go out of battery (not sure if that's the proper term). Anyone know where to source a spare or aftermarket outer barrel? Not really looking to buy a new upper or gun. I can try WE but they will direct me to Evike, and most likely not an item in stock as I am currently waiting on magazine baseplates from them. Initial Review Packaging The gun is packaged in a molded soft foam insert within the cardboard box. The gun will come with the muzzle device separated from the barrel. However, airsoft gun replicas in the US need to have a permanently attached orange muzzle device, so they cut apart the foam to make it fit in the box. Included in the box is a instruction manual, the airsoft gun, magazine, front and rear flip up sights, 2 barrel washers, 2 different sized allen/hex keys (small is for hop adjustments), 2 small rail sections, 1 large rail sections and 6 screws to mount the rail sections.

There is no active inventory so some items shown may not be physically in stock or on hand. It then gets ordered from a distributor or the manufacturer and then gets shipped out.

Will this mag conversion be a simple drop in component and easily changeable back to stock?

You need to put the lever arm as it locks the upper rail onto the barrel nut. If not, it'll wobble.

I did some comparison with RS M&P sights and it will not fit. Maybe if you find a sight with similar footprint to the OEM WE M&P front sight.

uscm, who makes that threaded outer barrel and thread protector? Looks sweet. Haven't been messing with my M&P much, but using green gas and I haven't had much problems with light hammer strikes. I did find one magazine did it but it was sitting in my rig for a few hours. I still would like to change out the hammer spring. A pic of mine in a HSP INCOG and D3 rig.

Good review! I have the Dytac wrench. It worked for a couple removal/installs. Now it no longer grabs after some torque and slips past the teeth on the barrel nut.

Thanks, TnL. I'll look into it when I build up the competence to pull apart the fire control group. Going to do some more troubleshooting with newly lubed o-rings.

Pulled out the output valve from all my mags. They look perfectly alright. Maybe a combination of running propane and warm weather and increased pressure within the magazine and combination of weakened hammer spring. When troubleshooting the other day, the gun shot normal after about 10 or 12 weak shots and manually cycling the slide. It did it with every new mag (topped off bbs and gas) I put in.
