I like it because it provides a much better cheek weld than the mesh version, but yes, it is incredibly ugly.

Saw someone at my local field with a Masada yesterday, hopup is completely busted, doesn't work at all. He took it into AEX, they claim to have fixed it, but it is still broken. Sheesh... for 480$, I expected a little more from PTS. Brilliant externals though.

My guess is that they only had one or two, perhaps that they found in the warehouse, and priced it at 300$ to get rid of them. That or they messed up.

So on 134a/duster gas, it would remain pretty reliable? That's the gist I got from reading this thread.
