  1. You're crazy! Get that thing outta my thread right now!
  2. How's the build quality of the P226, from your perspective?
  3. Funny you should ask. I was just thinking about selling the "stainless" RSR (the .454 has already been sold). I just have to dust and clean it first The M29 is one of my gems, so I won't be selling it for awhile. Were you able to gauge the power of the M500? (with a chrono, that is, not soda can) Also, how's the power of the Colt snubby?
  4. Any brand, any model and any type. Just as long as it has a spinning cylinder. Here are my Tanakas.
  5. Fees start at $500 for downloading and installing it. Then everytime you turn on your computer I charge $25. Nice photo. The silencer is an overkill for a .22, don't you think?
  6. Oh, come on! What's wrong with the red? It gives a little highlight to the whole picture. And no, it's not a laser pointer; it's just Photoshopping. And you can't use it as wallpaper, at least not until you pay me royalty fees.
  7. Not sure, as I've only used 134. Being the slide is made of ABS and this is a gun that you cherish and not abuse, I wouldn't want to risk it.
  8. That's a scene from "Scanners," with some of my own editing, of course. I saw your 1911 video, good work. I noticed you had it down for decocking the gun. It's tricky for the 1911, because you have to push the hammer down to depress the grip safety first before you can pull the trigger.
  9. Ahem... the gun says Smith & Wesson.

Thanks for the quickie perspective. I would have bought one myself if I didn't already have a Wilson CQB. As for the velocity, I have a few of the SCW 1911 single column pistols and they chrono approximately 250 FPS (134/0.2g).
  11. Whoa, three reviews from Shao within less than a month? Somebody's gettin' busy.
  12. Until Arnie links the thumbnails to the larger images, here are links to them from the review. http://photobucket.com/albums/y20/airsoftpics/premium-01.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/y20/airsoftpics/premium-02.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/y20/airsoftpics/premium-03.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/y20/airsoftpics/premium-04.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/y20/airsoftpics/premium-05.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/y20/airsoftpics/premium-06.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/y20/airsoftpics/premium-07.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/y20/airsoftpics/premium-08.j
  13. I almost bought the MGC M16A1 back in ’88. Instead I purchased the Marushin Uzi model. PFC guns are great to shoot, but takes a lot of time to clean up.

  15. I haven't used anything higher than 134 yet. Green will most likely jack it up to 250 FPS or so. I think 134 would do for simple close-range plinking. I might try using green sometime in the future just to see.
  16. I can say that the COP, both in airsoft and real form, is used as a close-range, final-recourse backup. At that range you don't really need to aim. As I said the trigger shows a bit more resistance near the end of the travel, so that alone can throw your aim off.
  17. The "feel" of the COP is in a class of its own. I haven't felt any other gun that's like it. The short grip is a little awkward. You can say the small grip has the feel of the traditional 2-barrel derringer, with the addition of a hard trigger pull. The trigger pull is hard, especially when your near the end and trying to trip the hammer. I would aim first, pull the trigger about 80% through, aim again, then give an extra squeeze to fire.
  18. Hehe, so now you've learned your lesson about green gas and the silver Shorty .40 (or any WA gun for that matter). I had owned the same gun awhile back and did exactly what you've done. The notch was worn down, but it still held the slide back. I've only fired about 7 rounds before noticing the problem, so it wasn't as severe as yours. Overall it's a very beautiful gun.
