Reached the limit for no photo posts for my liking but that's not really a big deal to me. What I am thinking is to get two matching sets of uppers I would have to buy two brand new WE M4s to make sure they are compatible which is a big commitment 😛

Yep. But they were 5+ years apart in manufacturing so I dunno. I had my original WE/AFC marking M4 and bought a spare WE upper and that did not fit my original WE/AFC marking lower

Dangit... I've always wanted a multi-upper M4 config for my WE stuff. But when I tried it and bought just a spare reciever the holes didn't line up between new upper and the complete rifle I had so that was a bust

I'm not sure if I'm more impressed by the AK build or that chair 😛 That OD MAGPUL furniture looks nice! Sometimes I regret going all black on my stuff but ya know, never goes out of style and is discreet 😐

Ah, perfect Christmas gift for an airsoft gun smith Yeah, I am a strong advocate of the KWC 1911 CO2 pistols, they are awesome for the price, no doubt. I wanted to install fiber optics in my sights but my drill bit broke off half way in to the first dot on the rear sight so that didn't work out The front sight might be removable with like a 0.3mm allen wrench from the inside of the slide but I haven't tried it myself. But it looks like there is a screw of some sort in there.

Not difficult at all. 10 minutes with a Dremel sanding drum to remove the excess material to fit the CO2 capsule bumps in the magazine well. Looking at the fit up close just now I can see that it could use some fine tuning but you get the idea

Someone messaged me on Facebook a while back saying that their MKII forend tube arms were too short to work in a MKI setup. I hadn't tested this myself and found it a bit strange as I had asked APS directly and was assured you could interchange the MKI and MKII bolts between systems without additional changes. Maybe you can make it work by switching out the bolt plate between the bolts as well. APS posted a video on FB today and shows FPS ~350-ish and in the comments they confirm release in October. Good that MKIII is coming but don't really feel like I need to grab one ASAP considering the small changes over MKI.

The cap at the rear that can be unscrewed, like on the MKII bolts. Also the gold/TiN rim around the front of the firing pin is new and like MKII, not sure what it does though but the MKI don't look like that. And as per the comment on the FB post the bolt plate is steel on this MKIII iteration.

Looks like there's a MKIII system on the way. Appears that it's not gas-in-bolt but retaining some design features of the MKII bolts. One of the comments in Chinese said something like "Law suit won?". Perhaps meaning the legal battle which got them in trouble for the MKI system forcing them to make the MKII may have been cleared.

Pretty sure he means these, which I guess technically would be "MKIII"/GEN3 shells. Looks like another step to speeding up reloading of shells. Not yet listed on APSs own web shop site though, and don't think I've seen them listed for sale anywhere yet. Possibly only compatible with MKII?
