Just saw that on Facebook. Looks interesting but from the carbine conversion kits out there I still like the Ronin for Glock. I was considering getting one. BUT... I realize that my KWA MP9 GBB SMG is pretty much the same thing so I dunno... Minus putting a pistol inside of it of course, but in terms of form factor, looks, features etc. And we all know the KWA MP9 GBB is a BEAST!

You mother trucker! 😛 I had one of those many years ago. Fully upgraded as well with Guarder parts etc.. Being a huge Splinter Cell fan it was an obvious buy but I found the very "deep" grip (due to magazine size to accommodate the 5.7 round) made it very uncomfortable to hold and pretty much unusable for me. Not even fun just holding it as a "couch gun". So I sold mine. But dang it looks cool 😎

Well, gold is a bit to blingy for my taste but I get what you are going for. In that case your best bet is gold parts from the same manufacturer or having black parts from the same manufacturer refinished in "gold" but that will probably be very expensive.

Highly doubtful that they will be a perfect match (or even close) because it's different manufacturers and also most likely different base materials (aluminum/steel/pot metal) and coatings/coating methods. No way to tell how well they match up from just pictures. If you want the items matching as closely as possible your best bet is to find both barrel and spring guide from the same manufacturer in gold finish.

Without any first-hand experience with 5KU, I would say Guarder. Tried and tested brand that works and is well made, IMO.

Not exactly. I would assume it is since WE is RS compatible and VFC is "more" RS spec than WE and can also accept RS grips AFAIK. I put a WE HK416C grip on my last WE M4 build and got the grip from KY Airsoft and it was a drop in fit EDIT: Wait wha? VFC doesn't have a spring and detent hole in the grip?

This is the German video (with subtitles) that I watched. Seems like there are a few improvements from the original VFC/Umarex Glock pistols.

Impressions? Saw a 45 minute German video on it and it looks pretty good actually. Not a fan of the 19X myself though 😐 Which store did you get it from?

AW Custom Springfield V10 GBB pistol with custom engraved markings from QRF and hex head grip screws (waiting on torx screws) Also quick FYI while it is possible to make RS Hogue grips fit on this, it was a PITA to get the screw holes and bushings fitted (like, pop out the metal bushings from the original grips, Dremel the sh*t out of them, Dremel out the inside of the grip and hot glue the custom bushings etc. and the grip doesn't really line up properly when installed...) Just a quick preview test shoot with my improved light setup with 6 ring lights instead of my original 3.

Props to that guy for managing to take a good photo of this ultra boring looking pistol... Here are some preliminary shots of mine. The slide and frame are the same shade and sheen of black which makes it look like a rubber movie prop gun 😛 Maybe a thin coat of silicone oil on the slide would make it pop? FYI I was just doing some initial tests of my improved light setup with 6 ring lights instead of 3 so that made for some pretty flat and uniform lighting which this pistol did not benefit from. Also not a big fan of the pistol as a whole, but mainly based on what it is replic
