I understand that it isn't the same. The original question was : If I wanted to build an AK like that then what would be the best base gun for it? I made the suggestion for something similar, as he didn't ask to replicate the rifle exactly.

I'm using the Echo 1 CPW, as it already has almost everything you would need( stock conversion, railed hand guards, and upper rail). The only thing missing is the optic, vfg, and suppressor.

Just picked up these fine young ladies. The goal is to end up with the CPW looking like this:

The paracord wrap makes the stock so much more comfortable. No more ice cold stock to the face. I like the stubby front end as well, I have the original extended barrel with the sling mount still, but I prefer the shorter version more.

The Star version is amazing. A team mate of mine liked it so much, he went out and found a used star to buy. It does have a functional three round burst, which I think I use more than any other fire mode. The only modifications I've done to it, was to add a Pro-Win hop up and a madbull 6.03 TBB, and I can easily reach out 250ft. It's frightening the range this thing gets. My only complaint is almost NO ONE knows how to get the gear box out. It's some sort of magical puzzle. I haven't needed to, but my buddy has a spare gear box that came with the one he purchased, and we haven't be

Normally I would agree, but they feed perfectly in it, so I use what works.

This is from one of the two games I was able to play yesterday at the REC game we hosted. This was my chance to run all my gear for OP:NL3 this upcoming weekend, and figure out any changes needed.

Thanks man! I ran it yesterday at the rec game we hosted, and I was surprised how well it worked. The weather is supposed to be about the same for NL3, so I'm pretty confident in it.

ACS stock came in: this one is finished, now time to start on the Cqbr.

I recently picked up an older M93 stock, but it really didn't fit with my builds so I'm looking to switch up stocks. I'm looking at either getting a CTR or an ACS, I could use either one on either rifle, so help me decide. I'm leaning towards putting a CTR on the 10.5" and leaving the crane stock on the 14.5", and toying with putting an ACS on the 14.5". What do you guys think?

I decided to hold on to the M93 for a different project, it just didn't seem to fit with the rest of the rifle. So back to semi magpuled, thinking about replacing the grip with a miad.

Despite picking up an older Magpul M93 stock, this set up just seemed to fit better. Basic seems to work better.

Scored an old M93 stock today. My teammates hate it, but I love it. You'd be shocked at what I paid for it.
