The problema with the one you linked to is that it isn't being offered in the Waffen SS or leto pattern I like. Also, that shop offers partizan suits for 36$. Add 15$ in fabric and 20$ for the tailor work (they take my pants in for 2 euros!), and Im getting a Gorka-looking suit for 70$. Plus shipping.

Thought this might be the best place to ask. I want a Gorka suit/BDU (do not care about cold weather protection, just for airsofting). I believe the one I like is the Gorka-E in Partizan or Waffen SS pattern, like so: http://blog.gruppa-l.com/wp-content/uploads/DSCI0449.jpg http://blog.gruppa-l.com/wp-content/uploads/13wp6upyj.jpg But they are hard to find in my size and very expensive for something Ill wear maybe twice a year. Since I have very cheap and ingenious tailors in my vecinity, I was thinking about getting a cheaper Partizan suit like this one (although with a more
  3. Since saturday the site won't let me post image links from Photobucket. I get a message that says that the extension is not allowed. But even saturday morning I was able to post a few.

You just need to pull the trigger guard out, losen the screw under the gas tube and slide the whole gun out of the stock, taking care not to rip out the battery wire.

  6. Quick question: Im going to weather a Dboys/Kalash AKSU. Should I take the internals out before going at it? Someone said the metal and paint dust could cause damage if it got into the gears. Maybe using wet sandpaper?
  7. Dummy shells at EB. Could be look a lot better, but I guess some paint could improve them. http://www.ebairsoft.com/m870-dummy-shotshell-blue-p-7972.html http://www.ebairsoft.com/m870-dummy-shotshell-p-7973.html
  8. Thanks for the info! Isnt a 416 (5.56 mm) thinner, though? Doesnt it look weird? I just found the Crusader barrel extension. According to EHA, it has an outer diameter of 15mm, while my 417 barrel has a diameter of 18mm. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/crusader-m653-4-5-inch-steel-barrel-extension-14mm-ccw.html#.U_xf4GOwCpo
  9. I just bought an Umarex HK417 and now Im looking for a rear sling attachment plate. Since the back of the body is different from that of M4/416/etc. i assume one of those would look funnt. Any suggestions? Also, is there a barrel extension that I can screw on the shorter barrel I have, like many M4s come with now? I want it to llok like this (I think this belongs to a member here), but be able to go back to short without disassembling the whole thing.
  10. yeah, I know. That's were I saw they were DIY'ing them. I just wanted to know what could be achieved in plastic and, I assume, by hand.
  11. Awesome! I was thinking about building this just last week. I want to use one of those M231 sliding wire tocks, though. Do you have any detail pics of the front sight assembly and the handguard? Even the RS guys have to make thier own.
  12. Here you go. This guy is awesome. http://unisodachi.militaryblog.jp/e469317.html The bmod actually seems kinda simple with the right tools and skills. No challenge for an airsoft company, so either Marui makes this as a kit, or someone will clone the G&P kits and adapt them for the TM. Really hope Marui does it: I think it would cost 400$ as a full gun.
  13. That looks really good. Painted it yourseld or King Arms kit?
  14. If you look back a bit in this same thread, I had the same project in mind less than a year ago. Someone on here made it about 2-3 years back and I re-posted his pictures on this thread. I'd say start with a regular AUG and mod the upper with a G36 C rail, hacksaw, putty/epoxy, some screws and paint.
  15. Looks incredible! Are you set on the aluminium or dont you think the current plastic 3D print you have will hold up?
  16. Yeah, it's 30mm. I got a fake LaRue SPR mount, as the sight was mainly intended for my Dboys Scar-H. I dont have a proper killflash, but I used the big scope cover rings to hold a piece of stocking over the lens, for protection of the glass, more than killing reflection.
  17. I have the Visionking short dot and it's my best sight and for only 57 $. I know it's surprisingly cheap, but trust me it's amazing: - biggest sight picture Ive seen on any scope - so clear you think you see better through the scope than with the naked eye - perfect for airsoft distances: it goes from 1.25x to 5x - awesome eye relief, probably has to do with the enormous picture - simple yet effective "dot": 2 horizontal lines and one vertical, bottom line that do not meet at the center, where there is a small circle with a dot in the middle. This allows for both precision shooting and

Yeah, G&G is not cross-compatible with Marui, as the GB are very different: Marui GB http://www.airsoftgi.com/mobile/images/airsoft_M14_gearbox_A.jpg G&G GB http://www.airsoftgi.com/images/pic-009-gg-gearbox-m14.jpg
  19. How about mixing both gases? Fill half the tank with 134 and the rest with propane/green. This should give you a an intermidiate pressure. Anyway, I hope the realease the necessary parts to do any of the guns below. The first two shouldnt be a problem. I plan on getting that shell tube simply by cutting the parts off of a broken tri-shot.
  20. Thanks for the review! If you take out the stock, could you photograph the attachment of the stock on the body and also the gas connection? I really want to know if one of those M4 stock&grip adapter is realistic for this gun, but one of the nice ones, with straight buffer tube and a top rail. This would make an Ironridge or Magpul Dr. Drake 870 very siemple to build. cheers!
  21. Yeah, thats why I dont like digital camos made with adhesive male stencils so much. I finished the gun this evening. Will post pics tomorrow.
  22. Thank you! The rest of the gun is almost done. The finish on the gun itself is not as nice as what you see here, as Im using female stencils cut from paper, surfaces that are not flat prevent me from placing the stencil directly on the paint surface, so the shapes are not as clean, some evn just a blob. But once everything is assembled, it's not really that noticeable.
