If you pay attention, you'll notice that the pixels are all over the place, while in actual AOR they tend to cluster: areas with a lot of 3rd and/or 4th, and areas which are clean. I have since painted the gun in AOR2 and I am now much happier with it.

I am an idiot: turns out you open the battery compartment simply buy sliding and then pulling the whole stock end out.

Because I only want to paint the stock and heatshield. Also, Im getting markings engraved, so the gun needs yo be disassebled either way. This is my project: I might paint it OD first, since I already bought a G&P Brown heatshield.

Anyone got a Cyma M14 DMR? I just received mine and was disassembling it for painting and I cannot get ti the battery compartment for the life of me. I take out the screws which free the black platea used to adjunto stock length but the last one, which is different and id the last barrier un front id the battery compartment, just wont come out.

Being the cheapskate that I am, I decided to make some markings stickers for my HK416s, instead of buying higher ends or getting aftermarket receivers. I recently was able to install an A&K Masada Stock (15$) on my Dboys SCAR H, thanks to a custom 3D printed stock hinge and a little dremelling. So I was able to save around 70$ and it looks great. Will post pictures later. Anyway, now I cant have the battery in the stock anymore. Has anyone wired a SCAR to the front? Don't mind using a PEQ.

Anyone know how to take out the blowback chamber assembly of a Gun Heaven M92? There's only one screw at the bottom. It seems like I need to take out the safety switches. I have released the right hand side selector (grub screw) but the part that actually goes through the BB chamber seems to be connected to the left hand side selector and it won't budge. I need to free the whole slide so I can put in a longer outer barrel (VFC KAC QD silencer replica), which is also wider and the angle is not enough to slide it in. Any tip is appreciated!

FIGHT!!!

I had a lazy Sunday yesterday and decided to spraypaint my SOPMOD M14 base on that picture. I painted the lower chasis brown and the rails sand/tan. I left the gun itself alone, since the charging handle and bolt/bolt cover do not move on the Star M14's, so paintig it would have been either a real PITA or sloppy. I think it's not necessary either. I'm very happy with the result, I've wanted to do this ever since I saw Keyser's gun. I added rubber rail covers on the side rails, a tan grip-pod and a replica Trijicon Reflex. Still need to paint the magazine in dark grey. I don't think

Im looking for a certain picture, maybe somene remembers it and has it saved on their computer. - Star M14 Sopmod - User called Keysersoze or something similar - the lower bas painted brown and the upper chassis was tan. - I think he had an Eotech 552 sight on it Lost my old files and I recently bought a Star Sopmod just to imitate that particular gun.

Can anyone tell me whether a VFC (AEG) 416/417 grip will work on a Marui/Dboys 416? I know they have different motor angles but Im struggling to discover if the VFC gearbox is different to accomadate that difference in motor angle. I have read in a few places that it will work but be bad for the gears in the long run or that I need to change the pinion?

The pistol grip, will not be painted, Ill buy a tan grip. Does anyone recommend a good, durable, paint that will give me that factory look? Thanks!
