Meh I don't pay mine as I am truly part of the exceptions but that didn't stop them doing absolutely everything to get me to pay for one, quoting some badly worded story in the Daily Mail isn't going to help .

I declared no license years ago and they have left me alone. So... the Daily Mail link was simply a relatively recent search that came up when I Googled. Interesting to note that more and more people I know have/are ditching their TV sets/licensing and doing the same. I'm within my rights to not have to contribute to the fluff that's broadcasted. I am not saying that I don't agree with you, more that it is not as simple as 'Oh I don't have to pay' as then people that do will start to look for loopholes and end up with more hassle. It is an antiquated system of course but it is also a system that can cause you a lot of trouble.
