okay, I think I'm going to get rid of my G17 Match. This Steel is much nicer damn... Now I have 2 KWA USP's w/ steel kits, 2 SA G17's 1 steel one aluminum (aluminum actually has a nicer "clink" sound too!) 1 SA G19 premo, and 1 1911 that never sees the light of day. Now I'm working on my project mp5

alright, CWI actually shipped me a DX Avalon MP5 A3, and a few things I noticed: The safety selector still goes past safe, but the positions are not "mushy" at all. They actually pretty click into place pretty freely. I don't have the extra gmbh trademark no the side of the trigger housing. my gg mag seems to run pretty good on the steel carrier, with a pretty decent ROF.

Wondering if that glock lawsuit has anything to do with it... 400 usd (and whatever NonEx paid also) is no small chunk of change to throw away... I should start a paypal dispute.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

anyone know where I can purchase the DX version? CWI just ran out (placed it on order, and they told me it's cancelled) can I convert the SD3 into a standard A2?

Hey NonEx, did you ever get your pistol? My G17 premo is held up in customs right now, being "explored on" awaiting clearance from ups... been almost 3 weeks now... 1.5 weeks in customs.

I like it enough... now really contemplating G17 Premium.. not too sure if I like the short grip of the 19... As far as quality goes, I'd say it's okay. But then again, I didn't have ridiculous expectations like I did with the Ino 1911. AND it wasn't priced ridiculous like the ino, so my disappointment didn't amount to anything on the G19. I don't own a real G19, so obviously I can't compare. But it's just ever so slightly heavier. I was expecting it to feel like a real gun, but hey, if that happened then the gun won't cycle at all! I think it'll run okay on green gas, just not as snap

But then again, it's bone dry too so I lubed it up... with WD-40 just on the front part of the outer barrel, and the interior of the slide (just in the front, ever so slightly). Silicon oil kind of made it a bit sticky... started running pretty good afterwards...

Okay I got it... recoil spring is too weak to even return the slide into place! Even worse than the aluminum... looks like they shipped a project to us but oh well, if these are limited, then glad I got one!

The alignment of the holes are off. You can get one hole to line up, but the other hole is completely mis aligned. The pins are also a different size than airsoft size for the tapered pins (for the FSB) The only way to get the FSB to work is if you file the outer barrel (the front guide of the tapered pin) so that it's quite a bit longer. Reason why I didn't do this is because I may just want an airsoft FSB on my 10.3" barrel... I love the 10.3 CQBR/MK18 look, but I think ultimately, I'm gonna want a 14.5....

It took a chunk off my Vipertech Direct Impact Buffer... brand new! So I used the colt one instead
