  1. a lot of people will say "The original WWII Colt has loose fittings also!" Well, AFTER HOLDING a REAL WWII COLT 1911A1, yes it's loose. But not inokatsu loose! If a solid pistol is 100%, colt is like 85%-90% solid, with 10% play. Inokatsu is more like 50%-60% play. Even the safety selector is loose as hell. The colt is 100% solid on the safety selector, Inokatsu is like 40-50%. The fitting is probably 50% of original colt.
  2. I should add a prized bull holding the gun, and that'll make it priceless!
  3. get it scratched and beat up. It'll look like a real weapon after that!
  4. who knows. i think it's whatever we want it to be now..
  5. Even if it fires 1 round... (granted the Inner barrel will not permit this, and there isn't any type of rifling on the outer barrel, not to mention that the carrier doesn't even have a firing pin, nor will be able to eject the casing) -- What's the difference between this gun and a normal ar-15? They are still legally owned. It's not if it can fire 1 round. It's if it can fire a succession of rounds in burst or full auto mode. Semi Auto is perfectly legal in Kalifornia as long as you obey the rules. -- and you can't have more than 10 rounds, and a bullet button if your gun has a pistol grip.
  6. ah... typical vfc's... somebody just need to custom make their internals for max reliability!
  7. BATF are retarded sometimes. The magazine holder, the internal parts, probably wouldn't be enough to fire a real upper, without serious damage to an airsoft. I mean, I don't think the FCG can handle 60k PSI, and the hammer may not hit the firing pin, with the mag catch holding the magazine up at the right place...
  8. well, in that case, 2k club!!! and the viper will be a 1k!
  9. Actually, With all my mags and what's in progress... it's gonna be the $10K club
  10. It's a pretty big deal... especially when it only works with EB mags. But a bolt catch swap, and BCG swap, and the replacement of the rear buffer spacer shouldn't be too hard to replace...
  11. nope, never did. I suspect it's the bolt catch and the bolt carrier itself.
  12. hmm... I lost count after how many k's have been into this collection: Inokatsu 2011 M4A1 SOPMOD -=Real=- Surefire m951 w/IR kit Magpul ASAP Magpul MS2 Colt 6920 M4 Stock DPMS Forward Assist Eotech 553 Magpul BUIS RRA Front side sling mount Colt A2 Birdcage flash hider Colt Delta Ring Assembly (Delta Ring, Spring, and barrel nut) KAC Forward Grip AR-15 Crush Washer (yeah this was the cheapest) KAC Rail Covers -=Airsoft=- Prometheus 363mm AEG 6.03mm inner barrel Vipertech 2011-2012 AEG Hop Up Prime Steel Barrel Extension (Drilled and Tapped to viper's specs) Everthi
  13. here are some pictures of the comparison between the 2 rifles: viper doesn't lock back all the way when you insert a mag inokatsu locks back all the way Viper M16A1 trademarks Inokatsu M4A1 trademarks Inokatsu Dust Cover color Viper's Dust Cover color color of the outer barrel. Viper's short selector
  14. I really want GHK to make one with their excellent LCT externals... But as it stands, it seems that only VFC secured the license from Umarex...
  15. How is it running for you guys? can it be 100% reliable yet? Any type of upgrades is a must? Also, anything to fix that selector that can go full 360 from that one german review?
  16. So I just received my 2012 viper MK18 Mod 0 rifle with full colt trades. Here are my initial impressions! (As some of you may know, I don't overlook the physical appearance details such as the 'forge-line' as many of you has pointed out..) Anyways, looking PAST the forging line, here are my impressions of the rifle! Yes the forging line is VERY minimal, and is barely there at all! (might as well get rid of it!!!!) So what I currently have: 2 GHK's (AKM and a PDW ver. 3) 2 Inokatsu's: 2009 and 2011, and now a Viper 2012. I was completely expecting an inokatsu, but higher build quality,
  17. all after I've done my finishing around the entire gun. still a lot of play.
  18. I know newer 1911's aren't hand made by Dom anymore, but by cybergun, in which they glued the rear sight so it's solid. But yeah, mine is just like the pictures i posted earlier, but now that I have finished mine, it's much closer to that "grey" look.
  19. You must've finished it now that I saw you color corrected the pictures. Because it jet black. I had to sand paper it to make it grey. But since I removed the bbu, I can never get the gun to sound the same anymore.
  20. yeah, the issues of gas guns: you must use quality bb's that wont get crushed, since they are literally being loaded by the bcg! The Double feeding issue could be your hop up rubber being worn. A lot of these issues reside in the hop up, or the quality of bb's you use..
  21. from what I've read, you can't change the stock for a real stock because of the recoil spring is a different dimension. Is this true?
  22. I'm really thinking about this platform, but from reading this thread, this gun gets neglected A LOT. A lot of fixes, and no updates. First of all, this gun is pretty hard to find in stock anywhere.. .I guess they really are going back to the drawing board to make this work. Second, Did they fix the mechanism so you wont dry fire after the last round? And then, what upgardes do I need to do to get this skirmishable? Actually scratch that last question, what is the BEST internals I can get. Obviously, I would like carbon steel if they made it, but they don't. Is the Cocking lever aluminum o
  23. I just don't know why manufacturers make these awesome guns, but don't make them indestructible... I guess it's because they know people will pay for parts to fix them... it's a money hog... I guess that makes the manufacturers the winners of this... And if they make the perfect one, why would they make a newer version?
