  1. On the p229, the serrations are shorter than that on the p228. 229 http://www.praxagora.com/lunde/wallpaper/p...gue-left-hi.jpg 228 http://www.gun-world.net/sigsauer/p228/p228-large.jpg
  2. AKM with some new toys: with Type 56 M60
  3. Looks good so far, just need the RPK rear sight and receiver bulges for heavy barrel.
  4. Just installed an Egyptian upper handguard, now only need Guarder steel bolt (black one seems sold out everywhere) and real steel trigger guard.
  5. Same from AK photo thread, but different setup.
  6. My AKM is almost finished, thinking about refinishing the wood to matching color.
  7. I have one like that back in Taiwan, some go for really cheap there, like NT1500 ~ $46. Came with wood grips too. The build quality I felt was quite nice. I last heard some people converted them to use external air for fairground games.
  8. To go with FW's AK-74 I still need some real steel bakelite magazines, but it's difficult to get them here, also a wrist strap. Sling was removed for storage.
  9. I want one of those 1928 tommy guns, except in airsoft form. I know there's conversion kits available, only thing is they're very expensive. Here's some of mine: both of these are sometimes called submachineguns and carbines.
  10. 600 shot full auto pistol, must be crazy. Just a little something I decided to take. I'm still waiting on some G&P midcaps and real steel AKS74U handguards as well as some drop cases.
  11. awesome so far, I might have to try the same with the Inokatsu receiver as the base.
  12. The Chinese and Bulgarian AKs: All that's left on the Bulgarian is to add bayonet.
  13. KSC CZ-75, hope to get a metal kit and wood grips for it soon.
  14. I love what you did with the sight block, it looks like it's machined steel. I changed my AKM to black, as I'd rather have my wood AKM built with a receiver with scope rail. I'll get another to put it on soon. With black, I decided to attempt the look of the Bulgarian AK color, which from what I've seen usually aren't blued, unlike Guarder kit. I used this paint called Alumahyde 2, and after some experimentation I think I got pretty close. Sight block with proper Bulgarian sight Gas tube and barrel detail, I remember one of my real Bulgarian gas tubes looked like it
  15. From this... To this... To... The one on top Good times they were.
  16. Nice Bulgarian AKS74. I hope to get some real magazine shells soon to upgrade all my star magazines.
  17. I think the problem is that they can't electrically plate (? don't know exact translation to English) the heavyweight material, so they have to spray it. I guess Hippy and I got the ones with poor painting.
  18. You'll need to install a side rail first. The scope then attaches to the rail. The rail can look like this: http://www.k-var.com/shop/product.php?prod...&cat=265&page=1
  19. I'm hoping soon they'll make better parts for the TM1911 like the backstrap and hammer if it's the same quality as what I've experienced in TM's "ya qian" casting. But for now Vicious, you have convinced me to go ahead with this.
  20. That looks pretty good. Is there much of a color difference between the PGC metal and the TM metal? I might use a TM instead of a WA for my 1911 project instead since this is cheaper and seems like it's just as good to me.
  21. Harry, I love the revolvers you have. I want to start collecting revolvers too. Where did you get them? I want to order from WGC, but they say they're going to burn the trademarks off.
  22. Thats awesome, how did you make the bulges? I'm thinking about combining a CA AK74 with the new RPK kit, then adding scope rail. Also, that night vision sight I hear is pretty heavy. Can the gun support the weight well?
  23. That's great, how did you get the folding stock to fit? Did you have to put in a real steel rear trunnion? I want to do the same, and have decided to do it myself in December.
  24. Thanks, I love many older and more common guns like AK, FAL, and other guns from the 50's to 90's.
