Definitely looks a lot nicer than a kill flash, hate how much length is added with those installed. I did a similar job with my 3x magnifier, though I ended up using a flip up cap to hold the lens on. Though after seeing how clean the heat shrink looks, I may change it today.

Also a suggestion on the grip, use a bicycle tube or even large shrink wrap tubing to hold the switch to the grip, it looks a lot cleaner.

Yeah if Froglube could stay in a more liquid form like with real firearms, I'd imagine it'd be even better. Though in it's thicker form it still operates very well inside of a GBBR.

I jumped on the grenade and tried out FrogLube when a lot of people were considering it, it's an excellent product. I've been using it in my LM4 maybe less than a month after purchasing it and it's great. A big difference is that it's not petroleum based like other real steel products and is even edible and bio-degradable. I've also been using it on my KWA HK45 and my MP7 (before I sold it) and never had a single issue with it.

You could also buy the SURUS kit or just add the Eagle6 Heavy recoil spring.

Knock out the roll pin at the front side of the upper and them pull the upper rail rearward.

It wiggles from the factory, add some paper/metal/plastic between the rail and the upper receiver and the wobble is significantly reduced. My upper is extremely tight, though Im also no longer using the OEM upper rail. Also that build is SICK, I don't care about the lower but I always wanted a blocky upper like that.

For that price it ain't bad, I still want one but I need to calm down on the Airsoft purchases haha.

You're preaching to the choir here haha, I've used full auto only a couple of times and that was for YouTube videos. I've yet to use full auto in an actual game.

Considering the bolt is steel and as you mentioned operates in a completely different manner, I could see it having some issues in cold weather unless you're only using semi and at max 2-round burst.

Yeah I noticed a small amount of corrosion as well, cleaned it up and have kept it lubricated and it hasn't came back. The little that I couldn't get too didn't get worse either.

My SOPMOD made me go to GBBRs, I could never use an AEG ever again unless it was a TM recoil.

I run propane dry and use some propane and silicone for storage. If you choose to run it with propane, put just a little every 3 or so runs through the magazine.

Had an AEG ambidextrous magazine catch laying around the house so I figured what the hell. Takes some shaving here and there but it works just fine when it's done.

FrogLube works great, wear has reduced a lot and it cycles extremely smooth. I'll never go back to silicone. Though I do use light silicone for the pistol o-ring. Yeah I just use the blue and it holds up, I've had a few small screws here and there come loose on the aftermarket gas blocks (the noveske and now the HK416) especially when I didn't add any.

Yeah you might want to call to confirm, but the last time I checked they did have spares. It's pretty had to mess up though as the modification process is pretty simple.
