  1. Speaking of, would you (or anyone) know where to source a cheap MICH-02 ACU helmet cover?
  2. Man, haven't been around here in a while. Looks like people finally decided to upgrade their digi-cams, heh. Great show, everyone.

Plain and simple is the way to go.
  4. I strangly like it (comes decently close to the guns they use in GITS)
  5. Post it here: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...showtopic=58859
  6. Nice...based off a MC-51? Oh, props for not starting your own "guns made by Schwaben Arms" thread
  7. Body needs to be painted, don't you say?
  8. @ash^ Must be tiresome lugging around 15lbs.. but come to think about it, along with the hydration, it doesn't seem that bad. @WESLEYoSEVEN Mm..multicam, very nice. I kind of regret buying ACU camo when clearly multicam works 99x better (for the environment around here anyways).
  9. Can you weigh that and tell me the result? I'm curious
  10. Bored, so... ...AEG stock pile. Se7en total. Name them all (base guns). PS. No I didn't put them all in a pile for randomness sake. I really have no *fruitcaging* ROOM in my ROOM.
  11. That looks awesome. What parts did you use?

I use to make a big fuss about that. Then I decided when I put on my airsoft goggles and neoprene face mask, mesh face mask, or gas mask, I didn't want to bend my neck that much so as to feel uncomfortable when aiming. With the respirator, I couldn't even align my eyesight with the optic. But if it works for you, by all means. Also, I'd think that HOB wouldn't really play much difference in the world of airsoft, simply because typically not many AEGs are accurate enough for it to become a noticable factor. An inch higher or lower wouldn't make that much difference, IMO.
  13. Might as well contribute...
  14. Needs more ACOG, heh. Long thin scope looks sort of misplaced. Great job on the "custom MRE" though, props for that.
  15. Ah, I sort of know how that feels. Two of my friends are right handed but left-eye dominant. They find it incredibly hard to wield weapons left handed, and even more difficult to try and focus their right eyes.

Thanks, and honestly, it'd probably look better without the RIS panels, but they do get some use out of them, so I won't sacrafice beauty for functionality in this case (well...this is a pictures thread). The base gun is the same length as an M4 with the same silencer, that's what really drew me into getting the KA MRE set. Anyways, I'll get some pics soon of it without the silencer and the panels. It uses the same barrel set as my carbine, and I'll post up a comparison pic soon.

Oh indeed. I crave a (G&P) crane stock so badly, since my feeble arms are...well, feeble. Although it's not as bad as it sounds, it is quite front heavy even compared to most ARs. To be honest though, it's not that much worse compared to my old configuration, with the CA RIS unit. About the rail and rail covers, the colors all screwed up, I know. the MRE unit is painted Tan, and I have OD and Black panels. I don't mind as much because it does go well with my woodland gear. And I agree to the opinion that taking them off would make it look more clean, but I actually use them, a
  18. Wow, that 2nd picture completely justified the 1st. Here's my contribution, my newly rebuilt primary: //needs better camera

My newly configured [budget] primary weapon. (yes, the exposed wires are fugly) Here's the list: - CA M15A4 RIS base - SP100 spring, Systema piston head, Systema metal hopup, Systema tightbore barrel - KA MRE Set - 4x G&P Thermold Midcaps - G&P AN/PEQ 9.6v 3300mah - RS verticap grip - 2x OD, 3x Black RIS panels - Riser Mount - Guarder ACOG replica - CA One Touch QD silencer - TT Quick Release single pt. sling - ACE flashlight w/ leapers scope ring --edit-- I just added it all up...costed me around ~$430 total.
  20. Wishing I didn't trade mine away now. Even kept the seven mags, SG-1 Harness Sling, and Tracer Unit for it in case I ever get another. Nice acquisition, Hannibal -- enjoy it!

I agree. No tangles or catching-on-to-gear issues. All I need in a sling (for most cases) is just to prevent it from dropping and give the arms a bit of rest once in a while. I've got the TT Quick Release single pt. sling myself and it has served very well.

Looks like a Specter MOUT single point sling.
