  2. http://www.component-shop.co.uk/html/airsoft_li-po.html Oh it's from the component shop above...
  3. Hi Guys will the following battery fit in the ScarL 7.4v 2200mAh 35c 77A Continuous, 150A burst Size: 101.1 x 35.5 x 16.1 std 8.4v mini battery size thx
  4. Well, I figured I may as well join the club and i'm picking up my SCAR L tomorrow.. I went for the L, coz I have about 10 SOPMOD mags so that should save me buying new mags if I had gone for the H. Other than the looks, am I right in assuming that the L and the H's have the sasme performance out of the box?
  5. Ah yes, Diamond files....have a packet of those lying around somewhere...
  6. That reminds me, I have to slightly broaden the nub hole in my prommy barrel as the firefly hop rubber's fingers don't all pop through. I think there a 4 in total and only 3 are ever showing at any one time..
  7. I'm just runing a std marui nub and marui rubber.... Tried using the firefly rubber, but found it did not work inconjunction with the marui round nub. I'm waiting to get a flat firefly nub now.....
  8. Hi Guys, ain't been on here for ages.... must be close to 6months! What have I missed? Has the EBB tech moved on yet? Any new developments? cheers
  9. Don't laugh, but mine went flying across the room once, took me 30 mins to find it. Lol
  10. Just make sure you have the right tools and you'll be away. Pay attention the the bolt stop mechanism, the charging handle and the blowback mech. Also when you do take the gearbox out of the receiver there is a little spring which is held in place by a Philips screw. Be carfeful when you unscrew that screw (lol) the spring is kinda under tension and it may fly off never to be seen again.
  11. IMAX B6 lipo balancer charger. Super bit of kit and only about £30
  12. Honzo, it's easy to take apart, more so than a conventional AEG as the spring is not under tension. There is a super eagle6 takedown video online. I followed that video the first time I took my sopmod apart. You will need the right tools though, a sopmod spanner and a torx screwdriver a T10 I do believe and some Philips.
  13. Honzo it's possible you may have some premature wear on the piston teeth or even the main gear. But before you take it apart does it misfire with all your mags? If not then its a mag problem perhaps? Check your mags for feeding problems....Also do you clean your inner barrel regularly? I suspect there is a gear problem as the gun may not be recycling fully. The easy fix is to take the gear box apart check all your gears and piston teeth and also check that the Tappet plate is not bent or worn away. If it looks fine then put it all back together and make sure the sector gear is seated In th
  14. Yale door key... now there an idea.... I'll give it a go... good thinking TK..
  15. Tried a steel rule but did not work.. and yes this one has loads of red loctite... Even getting the castle nut off was incredible... so much loctite on that too May try an allen key like Akira...hoepfully I have something that does not flex.....
  16. True, true, true.... but half the fun is tinkering..... and then figuring out why the hell it stopped working... On hindsight, I shud have kept my SOPMOD as I tinkered to death with it and the idea was to leave the SOCOM stock.... but now SOPMODLESS, I just could not resist the urge to take the SOCOM apart tonight.....
  17. Well I decided to upgrade the stock SOCOM this evening... figured I could do it in 35mins flat!!! boy was I wrong... took 60mins! lol Out went the stock TM parts and in went 6.03 pommy barrel, pommy aero cylinder head, pommy piston head, pommy piston, pommy cylinder, pommy spring guide and an eagle6 M100.... Shooting about 338-346 fps so happy there...... Managed to blow the fuse though, so have to look at the motor and see if the wires are shorting out somewhere.... Right.. question... how do I get the bloomin recoil end bit off the stock tube... I tried using a steel rule but th
  18. Richard, just seen your video of Tom's SOPMOD... 347 - 348 fps... nice I may just bite the BB and send you my SOCOM on reflection now..
  19. True, it's easier to tinker with the EBB gearboxes... lol
  20. Dur, try a marui sopmod or socom and you will know what the passion is all about. Surely a clone can never compare to the deal.
  21. Talking of PMAGS, I'm doing the same with my Systema. I'm replacing the systema stock mags with RS PMAGS so I agree we do need PMAGS for the Maruis . Time to start a facebook campaign lol
  22. This SOCOM is stock at the moment, i'll have to crack open the gearbox anywayto change to the main spring anyway... It's still annoying that this happens on a stock gun though....
  23. what I don't understand is why on semi it got stuck and I had to put it in auto to recycle the gearbox?
  24. 7.4v 2200mah 20c lipo. Surely it can't be the battery?
