Hmm ok i must not have tightened it up all that much as i did lube it quite well. Does your valve seem a bit shorter than the OEM one to where the "hammer" feels like it over travels just to hit it? -
Has anyone installed their SAT valve with positive results? I have one and it feels like the SAT valve is shorter than the OEM one. That and it gasses out under pressure on green much like the OEM valve.

Gummy o-rings in the valve? Hmm never thought of that. What did you change them out with? Nitrile?

Ive been popping through mags worths on green for a couple weeks now and havent had a single problem other than a couple light strikes on the first couple shots per mag after sitting a while after loaded. Mind you the temp here has been a constant 90 degrees so it may be a bit too high for the OEM hammer spring. I also have a VFC m&p9 and noticed it light strikes on green in warm environment also but the difference is the vfc has to be manually cycled until it starts chugging away while the TM the cycles "softer" until ideal pressure then really blows back at full speed. None of mine

Has anyone taken it down far enough to see if the Marui upgrade hammer springs are compatible? My gun is light striking in warm temp so id like to swap the hammer spring if possible.

Same here. Im using the oem recoil spring on the Detonator slide. While return to battery from slide locked is a little lethargic, when firing its snappy so i dont really see a need to swap it out.

To clarify the selector spring is the large spring shown above that is around the brass tube?

Gso Geko Ive assembled it and fixed the leak at the joint where the main core section interfaced with the stock but now i have an intermittent firig issue. It will fire inconsistent amount of shots per pump or non at all, all the way through the shell. I had used this shell before and not had an issue with it but after the reaassembly it has developed this problem. Any ideas to what i had missed?

I also have one and have a slight leak that developed after a full days use. Bleedout, what type of fiddling have you done? My gun currently has a leak that soundslike the gas is running through the body and sometimes stops after being fired and then starts again a couple shots later.

Oh really? Hmmmm gotta try that. Have you had any issues with the safety snapping? Since the bbu kinda has alot of play in there i was worried that since the bbu pretty much keeps it centered and made of pot metal that it may snap but since mine hasnt got much use yet i was uncertain of its durability under regular usage.

Wasnt it the mods shown to SD kit, required for the slide lock in the correct position? If not the kit locks in the wrong place aesthetically.

I've owned a few RS ACOG 4x (ta31a, ta31f,ta31h,ta01,ta01nsn) over the years, and they quite honestly have crummy eye relief also. Ive looked through the g&p clones and the eye relief is pretty similar, as well as the clone aimpoint magnifiers and RS aimpoint magnifiers in terms of crummy eye relief. :-(

I agree, when i fired the gun i was quite suprised with the soft recoil unlike tms newer line, even my px4 has a better snap to it. Did you have the nozzle detent and spring pop out yet? I had it happen once and am not entirely confident in the method that is used to hold the spring in place. I had to not install one "wing" on the blowback unit (the spring side)which causes some play in the blowback unit area. Were you able to install both sides that screw into the blowback unit?

Wwjkc- I also have the sd kit. What did you do to keep the rear sight in place? My kit came with the slide, outer barrel, frame, rear sight, and the silver screw for the frame. The rear sight has two small screw holes, any help would be appreciated.
